S4E15 A Short Story About Love

We hope that you have fearless… auditory passages (?) because we are here to share a short story about love along with frequent feedbacker Eric (or Eric from Pennsylvania as you’d prefer). This was such a fun episode to record especially since we love some aspects of this episode and not so much others. We love that we get some counterbalancing feedback from Geoff (xforce11) as well as some feedback from Rory, Anna (not Torv), Erin, ShelkyBean, and Patty from Canadia!

SILY 666- Old Testament Laws Explained

For most of us, reading the Old Testament is not fun. All of those names and laws are difficult to read and are the reason many who have tried reading the Bible from cover to cover often fail once they get to Leviticus. Those books do serve a purpose, though, and today we’ll explore that. It’s a bit of a deep dive, but because the laws are so misunderstood by today’s culture, it’s important we take the time to explore this fully.

Visions of the Future

What happens when ordinary people are granted extraordinary glimpses into the darkest corners of reality? Both “The Purple Testament” and “What’s in the Box” explore the terrifying burden of unwanted knowledge.

SILY 665- Monday Mailbag

Thanks to Geoff for sharing his struggles today. Especially for men, I think, it’s hard for us to admit we need help and accept that help. That mentality is often detrimental to our wellbeing. Geoff has shown us an example of humility and wisdom in action.

S4E14 The End of All Things

We are joined by Jerame for this episode as we discuss one of the best, most pivotal episodes of Fringe! Join us as we talk about what we love about this episode (especially the fact that we finally, after 75 episodes, find out “who or what” the Observers are) but also a couple of things that have us feeling just a tad frustrated.

SILY 664- Establishing Healthy Habits

Sometimes we fail to allow grace in our own lives. Once we miss or fail for any reason, we allow those feelings of failure to defeat us causing us to miss more often or quit altogether. It’s important to understand you will miss the mark sometimes. It’s equally important to think about that up front so that you have an understanding and a plan for how to respond and get right back to keeping up the good habit you’re trying to maintain.

S3E2 The Box

S3E2 The Box

We are back to the Blueverse and are discussing “The Box” in this episode of the show, sharing our thoughts on the infuriating but fun dynamic between Peter and Foelivia/Fauxlivia/Bolivia/Altlivia, the great character development from Walter and the stark difference between him and Walternate, and so much more! We also share some wonderful feedback from listeners like you – Francleigh, Geoff (xforce11), Erin, Eric from Pennsylvania, ShelkyBean, and Rory!

590- Room to Grow

590- Room to Grow

I love escape rooms. It’s no surprise really. I love all sorts of puzzles. Solving various puzzle-types is one reason I love The Legend of Zelda franchise so much. Once I learned about escape rooms, I had to try one out. To me, they seemed like a real life example of a Zelda dungeon puzzle. I remember asking my family about doing an escape room and it went just about like I expected. My son, who also loves puzzles and Zelda was all about it. He was super excited about the idea. My wife and daughter, on the other hand, were not excited at all.

Over the last decade that company, Pro Podcast Solutions, has helped launch several hundred podcasts and we’ve edited tens of thousands of podcast episodes. When I quit my job I had two clients, and now I serve over 150 clients. The path from two to 150 has not been straight nor easy.

S3E1 Olivia

S3E1 Olivia

After a bit of a break between seasons, we are back to tackle season 3, cortexifans! We are starting, of course, with the season 3 premiere, simply titled “Olivia,” which shows us the immediate aftermath of the shocking cliffhanger at the end of season 2. With Olivia trapped in the Redverse and her team not realizing it because Fauxlivia/Altlivia/Bolivia (take your pick) is undercover pretending to be her, she runs and hides from Walternate and Fringe Division, befriending a taxi driver named Henry along the way. Join us as we discuss everything that we love about this premiere.

588- Making Magical Memories

588- Making Magical Memories

As parents, we want to make lasting memories with our kids. We want to have shared experiences that make the bonds between us stronger. We want to give our kids the Disney experience. In preparing to write this episode I messaged my kids separately and asked them to share with me their three favorite memories that involve us as a family. I told them at least one parent had to be involved in the memory. I framed the question this way because Scott was focused on making memories as a family.
