With this being a finale, we both expected and hoped for the biggest and most delicious plate of nachos that we have been served so far, and we were not disappointed! Join Chris and Darrell (Debris Division partners) as we share what the Nachos had to say about “Celestial Body” – the stellar and absolutely phenomenal bombshell of a season finale of Debris! We heard from a few new Nachos but also heard from many of our regulars, and that list includes Cory, Matty, Brian the Christmas Guy from New Hampsha, Bastien, Geoff (xforce11), Anne, Barb, Cheryl B, Patty from Canadia, Sarge, John (TheSilverVox), TVasTherapy, Bradley, Elyse, Jeremiah, Emily (The Soggy Nacho), Brian (Zeppelin Driver), David, and Kome! We also heard from a few of you via our social media outlets like Twitter and Facebook, and you all had such exciting and insightful things to say about this finale, with many of you excited by John Noble’s appearance (as we were) and speculating about questions such as who Particle Man (first name Particle, last name Man) might be and what the heck we were looking at in that shocking closing scene. Be sure to keep in touch and stay connected with us because even though the first season of Debris is over, we do still have a bonus episode planned for you in the near future! Read More…
Tyrone Benskin Interview

After that absolute bombshell of the Debris season finale that we got, we couldn’t wait to chat with Tyrone Benskin on the podcast so that we could discuss George Jones more fully and talk about what motivates George and makes him tick, and what an incredibly fun time we had chatting with him! Tyrone is a man who wears many hats as an actor, a teacher, and a politician, and he touches a little bit upon all three of those roles in our interview with him. He touches upon whether or not George truly does love Finola, what he likes most about playing George, how he feels about having had the opportunity to work on screen with John Noble, as well as how he was convinced to run for Parliament. He also discusses in great detail some of the other roles that he has played such as The Phantom in a stage play production of The Phantom of the Opera and Karl Lubinsky in the short-lived sci-fi series Charlie Jade and explains what he loves about characters with complex moral reasonings, arguing that there is always a reason why humans do what they do. Tyrone addresses questions sent in by Nachos and also reveals what his ideal plate of nachos would look like! This chat was so much fun and so enlightening! We hope that you’ll get as much out of it as we did, and we thank Tyrone from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to talk with us! Read More…

Words cannot express how much we loved this epic and climactic season finale of Debris, but in over two hours, we certainly try! The finale brings us a beautiful balance between answering some questions from over the course of the first season while also asking us new ones and setting the stage for the second season, including a new character named Otto played by none other than an old friend from our Fringe days, the legendary John Noble! We discuss George’s heartbreaking betrayal, speculate about who or what the mysterious Particle Man might be and what Brill and Dakheya are up to with an apparent Finola doppelganger trapped in suspentia, share our excitement over seeing John Noble appear, and so much more! This was an incredible and gratifying season finale experience for us and can’t wait to hear your thoughts about it! If you want your thoughts to be featured on the podcast or if you’d just like to hit us up to chat about Debris, then be sure to reach out to us via one of our various contact methods! Read More…
Riann Steele Interview

We are so excited that we had the chance to talk to Finola Jones herself, Ms. Riann Steele! Riann enthusiastically chatted with us about her emotional attachment to Finola and how much she relates to her, and she describes Finola’s journey and character development over the course of the first season of Debris. She also, without spoiling anything, tells us a little bit about what we can expect from the season finale, and let’s just say that we are even more excited now than we were, and we were already really excited to say the least! Although we sadly did not have time for all of them, we were also able to fit in several questions submitted by Nachos and cannot thank you enough for your participation! All of your questions were fantastic, and we hope that we will get the chance to ask the ones that we didn’t get to in the future if and when we get to talk to her again. Thanks again, Nachos, and thank you so very much to Riann for joining us on the podcast! Read More…

As we discussed in our review and breakdown episode, “A Message from Ground Control” left us with more questions than it did answers, which we didn’t expect from a penultimate episode, but we are, as always, so grateful to have Nachos to bring such deliciousness to the plate and help us make a little more sense of this puzzling episode of Debris! We hear from Adam, Emily (Soggy Nacho), Julie, Barb, Cheryl B, Kome, Elyse, Bradley, John (TheSilverVox), Brian (Zeppelin Driver), and Patty from Canadia (who helps us understand the complex science in this episode)! Our Nachos cover topics like the intentions of the debris and whether or not it actually does come in peace, how Bryan and Finola seem to have switched roles as far as their sense of hope is concerned, whether or not characters like Maddox and George can be trusted, what they expect from and hope for the upcoming season finale, and so much more! We really hope that you will join the conversation next week and offer your input on the upcoming season finale which will surely be exciting and climactic! Read More…

We really don’t know what to make of this penultimate episode of Debris, as it ultimately asks more questions than it answers. This episode marks the third time that the show has referenced a ball of light, and this is the first time that we actually see one in action, so we agree that it has to mean something and will likely be explained more fully in next week’s episode. We both feel like this sort of feels like the first of a two-part episode and that we will likely feel better about it after having seen the season finale, and speaking of the season finale being next week, we also share our theories and predictions about what we think might happen in the finale as well as what our hopes are for it. As always, we hope that you will join us in this conversation and leave your own message from ground control by reaching out to us via one of our various contact methods! Read More…

As always, we got a tasty plate of Nachos this week, Nachos like Brian, Cheryl, Bradley, Geoff (xforce11), Barb, Kome (happy birthday, Kome!), Patty from Canadia, John (TheSilverVox), and Emily (Soggy Nacho). We also heard from a number of you via our social media platforms, and you all had such great thoughts to share! An overwhelming number of our listeners comment on Bryan’s awful hair and beard in the flashback sequences of this episode of Debris, and some of you also speculate a bit as to what the enigmatic closing scene could point to. We also hear discussion regarding Maddox and how he seems to be getting less and less trustworthy each week (and we would have to agree). The discourse from Nachos doesn’t end there as there is so much great stuff covered in this feedback episode, and we hope that you will join us over the next couple of weeks as the first season of this wonderful series starts to come to a close and be a part of the conversation by hitting us up at one of our contact methods! We would love to have your chip added to the plate!

This was a really crazy episode of Debris (especially that closing scene), and we aren’t quite sure what to make of it! “Asalah” answers so many questions – how Bryan met Maddox, why Bryan was in prison, who the young woman is in the photo that he carries around with him and why he carries it around with him (which is not what many of us assumed), why Bryan has been getting mysterious injections (sort of), whether or not his having been cloned back in the second episode would have lasting ramifications (it has), and how Bryan got the scar on his chin. The aforementioned closing scene brought new questions to the surface, however, such as who Black Water Grandfather is and what the deal is with the metals and the black wind that are mentioned in the voiceover narrative. We only have two episodes left this season, and we can’t wait to see where the last bit of this season is headed! Jennifer Copping Interview

We recently had the exciting opportunity to chat with Julia Maddox herself, Jennifer Copping! This was so much fun, as we talked about how she got the role as Julia on Debris, Julia as a character and how Jennifer has approached playing her, how she prepared for the phenomenal and emotionally devastating scene between her and Norbert Leo Butz in the “Do You Know Icarus?” episode, how she hopes that this conflict between Julia and Craig will be resolved, and so much more! She also enthuses over experiences on past projects such as Fargo and Bates Motel, her uncanny resemblance to Toni Collette, what Julia and Craig would likely sing together if they were to do karaoke together, and even what her ideal plate of nachos would look like! If you have even half as much fun listening to our chat with Jennifer as we had talking with her, then you are in for a treat! Read More…
