Visions of the Future

What happens when ordinary people are granted extraordinary glimpses into the darkest corners of reality? Both “The Purple Testament” and “What’s in the Box” explore the terrifying burden of unwanted knowledge.

SILY 665- Monday Mailbag

Thanks to Geoff for sharing his struggles today. Especially for men, I think, it’s hard for us to admit we need help and accept that help. That mentality is often detrimental to our wellbeing. Geoff has shown us an example of humility and wisdom in action.

S4E14 The End of All Things

We are joined by Jerame for this episode as we discuss one of the best, most pivotal episodes of Fringe! Join us as we talk about what we love about this episode (especially the fact that we finally, after 75 episodes, find out “who or what” the Observers are) but also a couple of things that have us feeling just a tad frustrated.

SILY 664- Establishing Healthy Habits

Sometimes we fail to allow grace in our own lives. Once we miss or fail for any reason, we allow those feelings of failure to defeat us causing us to miss more often or quit altogether. It’s important to understand you will miss the mark sometimes. It’s equally important to think about that up front so that you have an understanding and a plan for how to respond and get right back to keeping up the good habit you’re trying to maintain.

SILY 663- The Bookstore Mutiny

I struggled for a long time about whether or not to share this story with you because I felt like it was a story that was not very common and therefore not very applicable. But then I realized this story is very common. If you peel back the layers a bit here, you realize that the first step was the thoughts in the mind of one or more of the employees. They were disgruntled for whatever reason and allowed those thoughts to fester.

S4E13 A Better Human Being

Join us this week as we talk all about what it means to be a better human being! Pavla and Darrell dive into this episode that has many parallels to the Fringe pilot and “Marionette.” We take a look at the developments in the Peter and Olivia relationship, the impact the music has on one particular scene, discuss Walter’s behavior toward Peter, and earn some cool stuff about the Czech Republic.

TWDTT 053 – Sing Me a Song (S7E7)

TWDTT 053 – Sing Me a Song (S7E7)

Sing Me a Song is the title of the next episode of The Walking Dead, also known as season 7 episode 7, and the penultimate for this year. It is also another way that Negan shows his prickishness because he makes Carl, our little serial killer in training, do just that. While the seemingly budding bromance between Carl and Negan was the main focus of this episode, we also checked in with Rick and Aaron, Spencer and Father Gabriel, Rosita and Eugene, and Michonne. It seems that our characters are going off in all different directions, both literally and figuratively while they all try to cope with their new Savior situation. Michonne and Rosita are both hell-bent on getting themselves killed…er, I mean going after Negan. Read More…

SB66 – S4E8 – The Laws of Inferno Dynamics

As the winter finale of Agents of SHIELD, The Laws of Inferno Dynamics brought a lot of story arcs to a head, and we’re left wondering where the LMD storyline will continue moving forward. Are Aida’s intentions good in her own mind, or has the Darkhold gotten its tendrils into her? Is Eli gone for good, and if Robbie’s not done as Coulson suggests, how will he get back this time? And then, of course, there’s May…

Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for The Laws of Inferno Dynamics, Faith’s CoulSass moments, and our listener feedback segment! This week we talk about the awesome teamwork in the final takedown of Eli, the dynamic between Director Mace and former Director Coulson, the subtle way in which Mack and Elena have been brought together, the satisfying manner in which Daisy was brought back to the team, and much more!
