In June of 1984 a brown topaz colored Toyota Celica GT rolled off an assembly line in Japan. It was the 54,269th Celica made that year, and it now sits in my garage. From Japan it traveled by boat to the United States, eventually taking it to a Toyota dealer in California. He held on to the car for over 15 years, eventually selling it to a man stationed at a nearby Air Force base. And if you Google “lost wedding ring stories” there are several more just like that one.
