The season 6 mid-season finale is finally here with the 8th episode, “Start to Finish” and what a doozy! While perhaps not as strong as past mid-season finales, this episode ended on what appears to be another huge cliffhanger. The show begins and ends with poor Sam, who is not adapting to this new world as fast as his mother. After spending all of his time since the wolf attack upstairs, his first venture downstairs will be to walk through a huge herd of walkers wearing a guts poncho. Understandably, he is unsure of himself; and in his moment of uncertainty, he calls out for his mother. But that’s just the end!
