In episode 2 of Almost Human Podcast we take a look at the first two episodes of the new FOX sci-fi hit, Almost Human. The series kicked off on November 17 with, “Pilot.” In our review of the Almost Human pilot, we share our opinions on how this episode performed as a series pilot, the introduction to the characters, the use of special and visual effects, and the world that has been created in this new sci-fi drama. We reveal some of the easter eggs that tie in to other Bad Robot shows like Fringe, Lost, and JJ Abrams personally. We also throw out some initial theories on Insyndicate, Anna, why the DRNs were discontinued, and why Maldonado chose to bring back Dorian.
In our discussion of Almost Human episode 2 entitled, “Skin,” we share our opinions on the approach this episode took to some very interesting ideas involving morality, mortality, leaving a legacy, and existence. We talk about how Dorian’s perspective on this provides and interesting lens to these topics and how we like that the show is using these subjects to tell stories. We also discuss the relational developments between Dorian and Kennex, and Kennex and Stahl. We discuss the use of humor, technology, and how that compares to today’s scientific landscape.

Almost Funny-Dorian has a great sense of humor and when you are the kind that are in a class of your own(SPOCK Not full Human and NOT Full Vulcan)in this case Not Full MX and Not Full Human ya gotta find humor in the Special-ness or Unquneness you do have…some can be an advantage: in helping others and understanding better.
..and sometimes joking with others who will always be surprised can bring relief. Soon the guys will be shooting hoops together no bionic unfair advantages please??
I’m excited too, I’ve missed you guys since I was hooked on Fringe and the Fringe podcast.
