In our look back at “Collision” we discuss Ana Lucia’s flashback story, the mental anguish she has gone through with the death of her unborn child and the haunting guilt of murdering the man who shot her. We also talk about Eko’s demeanor, Sayid’s common ground with Ana Lucia, and the wonderful reunions between Rose and Barnard, Michael and Vincent, and Jin and Sun.

Funny how watching this series 22 + years later – I was 33ish when LOST came out. Now 55ish. And my thoughts about some of these characters have changed drastically. I don’t remember not liking Ana Lucia this much the first time around. Granted I think not knowing her situation the first time around I was more lenient toward her behavior because I could identify/recognize it. Understand she was going thru something i didn’t know about. But this time. I was really having some issues with her trigger finger reactionary self. It got Shannon killed and others hurt. And that kind of person (not self disciplining) is a threat to everyone they are around. Wasted a life (chose Shannon’s “fate”) just because your hurting and scared. NOT OK.
Plus I agree, why was no one sleeping in shifts after the 1st night of ‘kidnappings?” I’m surprised they weren’t doing it from the get go. An island no one is familiar with. I’d be nervous of who might be there before me. And of the wildlife.
