The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be

This content has been moved and can now be found here.

The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be were prophetic words spoken by Dr. Jenner way back in season 1 as Rick and the gang fled an about to explode CDC in Atlanta. Much like Rick, we didn’t ever think that those words would or could come back to haunt us. Now we know differently. Two of our beloved characters will no longer be a part of our show, but they will not be forgotten. Especially by the rest of the characters. In fact, this episode will most likely be the story that changed everything.

Quite a polarizing episode once again from The Walking Dead, and if you are anything like me, you didn’t really like The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be. That’s not to say it’s a bad episode, but bad things happened. Things I didn’t like. Things that will forever change the show, and maybe not for the better. I had a hard time with this episode mainly because of the frustration. I don’t like watching someone get their spirit and resolve broken, and that’s exactly what happened to Rick. I don’t like watching injustice and that’s what Negan embodies for me. Fortunately, Maggie still has some fight left in her, and hopefully, she will be able to bring them back from the brink of despair. We’re all counting on you, Maggie!

That’s It For The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be!
