In episode 228 of The Revolution Podcast we review the 15th episode of Revolution season 2 entitled, “Dreamcatcher.” We discuss the insight that this episode gave us about Aaron and his battle with the Nanites.  We talk about each of the characters of Revolution  and how this episode not only portrayed them in a different way, but gave us the perspective of how Aaron views each of them.  We share the easter eggs that we found in the episode, include the phone message that is played if you call the Tom Neville Insurance number that was in the commercial featured during “Dreamcatcher.”  If you want to call the Tom Neville Insurance agency, the number is 612-353-8113.

We also discuss how this episode payed homage to Inception, The Matrix, and even reminded us of the “LSD” episode o Fringe.  While the episode was mostly fast paced and exciting, the ending left the viewer with a sense of defeat.  That impression was intentional by the writers of the episode, and we discuss where that feeling could lead for future episodes.

We also talk about the great acting of Zak Orth, the brilliant writing of Paul Grellong and Bed Edlund, and whether or not this episode was a throw away episode or gave us info about the bigger picture of the show.
