In episode 35 of TripleCast, Cory & Travis continue discussing Mel Brooks with the 1967 film, The Producers.
The plot follows Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom as they attempt to swindle old ladies out of money by producing a play that is guaranteed to flop and running off with the remaining funds. When the play, named “Springtime for Hitler,” becomes an accidental success they fear jail time and rush to end the Broadway run by any means possible.
They also talk about recent movie news and trailers that have peaked their interest this week.
