Case Profile for Jon Bokenkamp
Over the last eight years, we here at The Blacklist Exposed have had many interactions with Jon over the years. Most of the time he dodges the questions faster than an olympic dodgeball team, but not this time. Oh No. We have waited a long time for some concrete answers to our questions as both fans and podcasters, and in this interview… Jon delivers.
You will hear a great synopsis about the final episodes of the season and how we got to the doorstep of the answers we seek. We talk shooting a show in Covid times, the decision to be more serialized, KEENLER taking center stage, the plumbing situation in the box, but most importantly what are the truths we should know going into next week’s “document” of the entire history of the show episode 821 “Nachalo”. It will be a Blacklist episode you will never forget.

Be sure to still answer our profiling question of the week: What will we find inside the bunker? Visit our feedback page to leave a response or call +1 (304) 837-2278.

Wow, I never knew about this podcast…it’s great! I’m going to go back and listen to all of the episode. I love the Blacklist and although now I’m 99.9% sure that Red is Katarina (which I don’t love, but have accepted since Cape May), there have been some episodes where things that Red and others have said contradict that theory (i.e., Mr. Kaplan telling Liz to get away from Red and not to wait until it’s too late, like her mother did. Or, Red telling Ressler that he wanted to sleep like he did when he was a boy. Or, even Red telling Liz her mother died of weakness and shame, just to name a few). Do we just chalk that up to irresponsible writing? Whatever, the case, I still love the show, but I wish JB would address all those little loose ends. Do you guys have an episode where you address those mistakes/misdirections? If so, can you direct me to it?
Not one in particular but we lay a lot out in BLE189 now available in podcast feeds. the mother of weakness and shame was him telling a story to Liz to get her flustered on how much he knew of her life. Just like Lizzy lied about getting the scar at 14 as she was testing red to see if he would correct her.
