Case Profile for Balthazar Bino Baker
Elizabeth and Ressler are being escorted back to the FBI much to the despair of Reddington. Even though an elaborate plan to use a decoy convoy is put into motion to protect Elizabeth, Townsend and his men are able to find the convoy and do some serious damage, not just to the cars but to Ressler who has been shot. Liz and Ressler manage to escape on foot into the neighborhood of the 7th ward.
Enter Balthazar Bino Baker is a sort of mob boss that runs the 7th ward. He ensures that his people and establishments are well taken care of. He is also well connected as he knows who both Red and Townsend are. He has established a network called the pipeline that moves money from one runner to the next without anyone but the final baton holder knowing the ultimate destination. Red enlists Bino’s help to smuggle Liz and Ressler out of harms way.
Be sure to answer our profiling question of the week: Will Townsend tell Liz Red’s secret? Visit our feedback page to leave a response or call +1 (304) 837-2278.
Balthazar Bino Baker in Pictures
Here are a just a few of our favorite scenes from this week.

The Music for Balthazar Bino Baker
As the show opens we see Townsend resting as “Elfentanz, Opus 39” by David Popper plunks and strings away in the background. Later in the episode when Liz comes in to check on Ressler after his operation we hear “You’re Somebody Else” by flora cash. Finally at the end of the episode as Red Liz and Dembe are surrounded by Townsend’s men we hear “Solitude” by Black Sabbath.
You can hear these songs via the official Blacklist playlist on Spotify or the same playlist recreated by us on Apple Music.

Bino- Liz saying I love you to unconscious Ressler reminded me of when Kate Beckett was shot and Castle said I love you. He thought she didn’t hear him but she had. I think Ressler heard Liz.
Yes Townsend is crazy which is why Bino was more worried about him than Red because there’s always the possibility to reason with Red.
Really hoping for a good shootout for Red and Liz to escape. Love watching him blow bad guys away. Thinking/ hoping red kills all of Townsend’s people b4 he kills Townsend.
Hoping on season finale, we find out what “Red did to Kat that Liz will never forgive.” But probably not til next season.
Prev/ Protean/ Protein–
I hate chin toupees also.
Angry cuz Liz didn’t pull over and hug Jen b4 she died, when she asked her.
Liz has mentioned two or three times about who died. But I don’t recall her saying Jax’s name. Right? Maybe she’s still alive and in a coma?
Red did tell Liz that Fakarina was not her mom last season. And I don’t think it sounded flippant when he said it.
I think liz would need counseling to ever have a halfway normal life with Agnes.
Loved Red and Paula at Bingo and how she ‘rescued’ him.
Once James on GMA said he’d love it if at the end, they’d rescue everyone who’s left, right up the ship, and sail away to new adventures. Or words to that effect. Sounds good to me! And also gives me the idea he knows there’ll be more deaths before the end of the show. And some “survivors”.
Love the idea somebody wrote In about Red and Stephanov and Iliya being Liz’s Godfathers.
But I still don’t understand about Seaduke? And why a lot of people I think that’s who Red is. I understand he tortured the real? RR. But why do people think Red was originally SeaDuke? Is there an episode concerning RRs capture and torture by SeaDuke? I remember the bloody shirt being mentioned but I don’t remember any kind of flashback. Was there?
Sorry this was long. I procrastinated again and didn’t get previous comments sent.
Love love love your Pod Cast! And you’re on air hijinks.
