Welcome to Stuff I Learned Yesterday. My name is Darrell Darnell, I yelled so loudly when I watched the new Star Wars trailer that my wife had to come and make sure I was okay, and I believe that if you aren’t learning, you aren’t living. In today’s episode of Stuff I Learned Yesterday I’m pleased to bring you another installment of the Friday Forum.
Today’s fun fact: Today is Bat Appreciation Day. Did you know that bats can fly at speeds reaching 60 mph, can eat up to 1,200 mosquitoes in an hour, often consume their body weight in insects every night, bat mothers can find their babies among thousands or millions of other bats by their unique voices and scents, and the world’s largest bat is the “flying fox” that lives on islands in the South Pacific. It has a wingspan of up to six feet.
I’d also like to point out that this day (or any day) is an excellent day to wear a Batman t-shirt, and the new Batman vs. Superman trailer will premiere on Monday, April 20th.
