The Sandbox Episode 78 – Farewell, Cruel World Review
We finally escape the Framework in the appropriately titled episode of Agents of SHIELD, Farewell, Cruel World, in which not everyone makes it out. The choices that were made along the way, the relationships between many of the characters, and the consequences of the choices that they’ve made are really the core of this great episode leading into the season 4 finale.
Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for Farewell, Cruel World, Faith’s CoulSass moments, and our listener feedback segment! This week we talk about Mack’s fateful choice, Daisy’s surprising sympathy of Trip and Mack, Simmons’ crucial mistake, Aida’s unexpected powers, and Radcliffe’s questionable nobility.

I love the blog post photo for this week!
I agree with Dave, given the episode this week I would have rather seen an epilogue than yet another GUARDIANS promo! I don’t think his actions redeemed everything Radcliff has done but as Mike said it went a long way regarding Framework stuff; I liked his actions this episode though. I have to disagree to a point, I don’t think Simmons meant to kill Alistair but I can totally believe she meant to shoot him – he was trying to kill her so her survival instincts kicked in and she shot him so to a bit she did mean to shoot him and I think Simmons could kill Alistair especially given her continued “1s and 0s” speech to characters but I don’t think she meant to in that moment is the only thing.
I agree with Dave regarding having Mace back. I vote for “We were bonding!” in the CoulSass poll.
Again definitely hoping for more AOS if it keeps up the quality of this season and season 2!
