The Sandbox Episode 74 – What If… Review
We’re back from hiatus, and with What If… it’s almost like we’re talking about a different show other than Agents of SHIELD! With Jemma and Daisy experiencing the Framework in very different ways, we quickly got a picture of the world we’ll be living in up until the finale. And then of course, there’s the return of Brett Dalton as Grant Ward – awesome!
Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for What If… and our listener feedback segment – sorry, no CoulSass Report this week! Coulson was… not himself. This week we talk about Fitz’s new personality, May’s continued grimness, Coulson’s slow awakening, Ward’s status within Hydra, and the difficulty Jemma and Daisy will have completing their mission.
Remember to join the Agents of SHIELD (and other Marvel properties) discussion on Facebook and follow us on Twitter for the latest news and live tweets during the episode. And don’t forget to vote for your favorite CoulSass moment in the Facebook group as well!

Agents of SHIELD What If… Show Notes

Is this body that was under Jemma Deathlok?
Good ol’ Bakshi…
Robert Redford’s character from Captain America has come up in the world.
As much as I enjoy Brent post S1 I hope he’s not in all 8 episodes because otherwise it’s going to feel like as Mike said he just doesn’t die and thus you’ll lose any drama with him because fans will be expecting him back the second he goes down so I enjoy him and he can guest again but I’m okay not seeing him for awhile.
I would love to see Brent and Elizabeth do something outside of AOS because those two together are just so much much fun to watch banter.
I have to agree with Dave in that it does seem like May’s regret is the key to the world, her regret is the foundation because most things are stemming from it. Fitz does seem to have influence as well but I wonder how much of that is his regret, which I feel is more about his dad than anything with Jemma given they’ve been setting the dad up with what seems like random comments, and how much is Aida giving his feelings extra power because she likes him.
I doubt they will do any more with it, but I do wonder if we’ll see Jemma showing effects of her dead avatar; like maybe she can take bullets because her body is already dead?
Jemma’s comeback to Ward about the framework was the best sass moment of the episode!
Some blog post comments…
I see you two are trying to finish off those who didn’t die by just watching the episode by posting that “so much sexy” banner photo. Nice job. Ha.
Awesome “show notes” by Taltos as always!
