The Sandbox Episode 67 – Broken Promises Review
The LMD arc begins in earnest with Broken Promises, an episode the explores the possibility of an AI suddenly achieving consciousness via the Darkhold. Or is it all just an elaborate ploy based on the ending we saw? Along with the return of Senator Nadeer and her brother, the stories this week drew us right back in after the long Agents of SHIELD hiatus!
Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for Broken Promises, Faith’s CoulSass moments, and our listener feedback segment! Welcome back; I missed you guys!
With how friendly Vijay is with Simmons and how he treats her like a lifeline at times do you think we might see another triangle with Simmons in the future?
I definitely think they scanned May’s memories because as you said how else would she know intimate details. Radcliff and Jemma did do that scan when they were figuring out what was scaring her to death so maybe Radcliff enhanced that data in some way?
I agree, I don’t think Nadir knew her brother would survive in the water; also agree Nadir is a good bad guy! The Nadir siblings stuff was certainly some of my favorite stuff in this episode.
Skimmons is always a good thing! 😀
The Kool-Aid line is still funny! I vote for “Salvation” in the CoulSass poll.
I meant timing wise the Radcliff bad guy plot was similar to Ward – they just wrapped a whole “traitor amongst you” story with Ward and now we have that same plot in basically the very next season; I was hoping it’d be more of a case of Radcliff (and maybe Fitz at least) versus the group over how to handle Ada and they be the bad guys arguably because of their stance instead of him seeming like a traitor like they did with Ward. Hopefully that made sense.
