A few comments on what you said since my feedback didn’t make to you on time.
I don’t think Fitz needed Will to get off the planet but he needed to bring him safely home to Jemma. That is what he promised her. That is what he thinks will make her happy, short and long term. He probably also need Will as an ally to get the better of Ward and his goons.
Jemma gave us some information on the creature in a weird narrative way saying she felt it lost it’s powers and wanted it back. So on the planet IT can only use Will’s physical abilities to subdue Fitz and Fitz is able to take Will out by a flaregun. On Earth we don’t know what other powers IT could have.
Thx for your excellent podcast. I will see you in March.
Badass Jemma Simmons, I want to snuggle with the picture this week.
I’m glad Brett is still around, but had this been his last episode it was a good for him because he got to spend the majority of time playing with Iain and he loves that. I think Fitz will have more concern for Coulson killing Ward and what that means with him than he’ll have regrets over destroying Will’s body because it wasn’t Will; had Will seemed more there that might have been one thing, but that didn’t seem the case, Coulson’s was personal and not exactly the Coulson Fitz knows. So what we’re suppose to take from the Inhuman talk here is there will be a hiatus episode that discusses him yes? *smile*
Badass Jemma is awesome. I definitely love they’re keeping Daisy’s computer skills in play. The entering through the pipes reminded me of “X-Men 2” and them going through the pipes to get into the base. May’s feelings towards Andrew/Lash are going be interesting to see play out; I found it highly believable given their last encounter that May was going there to shoot him and seeing everyone he killed has just increased that decision for her, but it’s also easy to believe she wants to lock him up to protect him and everyone else. It’s an intense situation and it’s going to be fun to see develop; what will be May’s decision and what are feelings doing it – is she doing it to protect people or for personal reasons? A good solo arc for Ming coming with that plot.
Part of me feels it’ll be a Andrew/Lash versus InWard face-off at the end of the season with one taking out the other because who else can handle taking down this Inhuman? Fitz tried to kill it twice and couldn’t so it’s going to take some power to kill or contain it and Andrew seems to be the only one with that power. How would you feel about this face-off?
I vote for “Pretty satisfying” for the CoulSass moment though the “Star Wars” comment is great too along with May’s “Not me.”. “How long will Brett get to play that character?” – true; I’ll miss him if he does leave. “Maybe they (Skimmons) can kiss in a sauna!” – accepted. Good points regarding the Inhuman from Taltos. I doubt InWard will be Black Bolt since he’s suppose to be in the movie. I’m looking forward to the “Agent Carter” discussions; nice “trivia” bit at the end Dave.
Happy holidays!
