The big reveal about Lash is the topic at hand in our discussion of Among Us Hide…, but there are plenty of other questions that demand our attention. What are Rosalind’s true intentions, and is Coulson being completely objective? Are cracks forming in Daisy’s trust of the director? And how will Ward deal with the appearance of Gideon Malick on the scene?
Join us for show news, episode analysis, Faith’s CoulSass moments, and our listener feedback segment! This week we talk about Fitz’s research, Andrew’s motivations, Hunter’s abrasiveness, Ward’s composure, May’s return, and Bobbi’s recovery.

SHOW NOTES:
Powers Boothe in The Avengers

I don’t know if Andrew is all that different from Lash; Lash judges Inhumans regarding something – be it them worthy of their powers or not and Andrew judges people’s emotional sides. Sure the killing feels new, but we’ve never seen Andrew in a position of “how far will he go” to do something given certain motivations. I think it’s a little early to say Lash is a complete shift from Andrew necessarily. As others have asked, is Will really alive or did Simmons imagine him because of some artifact she found in the “No Fly Zone” and it would be obvious if it was anyone from the team? Does Fitz know Will doesn’t exist and is staying quite to win favor with Jemma or is he just researching him because he he’s cautious about anyone getting close to Simmons? I agree with Mike about Rosalind and Phil; I like the conflicting approaches but could also take more of them together. The Jemma-Andrew “shrink” scene was good. Jemma always does better when she’s with Daisy. 🙂
Daisy and Mack had the exact same reaction I did when Hunter shot Banks. For some people the powers might be too much and they want the cure; it’s like “X-Men 3” and not everyone wanting the powers they have because for Rogue they make it hard for her to full experience connections and using an Inhuman for example the guy who got sick when one was near didn’t seem thrilled by his powers so while being Inhuman isn’t a bad thing, it doesn’t mean everyone wants that extra stress. I can see why Rosalind’s operation would be looked down on, but that doesn’t mean it’s not the best choice for some even after power training. It’ll be interesting to see how this plot line expands.
Evil Ward is fun to watch. I vote for “You know I run a spy organization right?” for the CoulSass poll. I didn’t mind Jemma talking to Fitz some in “4,722 Hours”, but it was because he was basically the only one she talked too that that felt off to me; Jemma does have a siblingship with him, but she also has connections to others so it would have been nice to see those getting time. Hunter is very extreme this season, he’s always been an extreme character but his recent actions are even more rogue as Dave says than his normal level; it’ll be interesting to see what happens to him, he still has good comedy moments but his ultra extreme mentality is becoming annoying because of the forcefulness. Again this is not fully new with Hunter but I didn’t mind it as much when he arrived because he still had some control about him; I understand why he’s reckless regarding Ward but the attack on Banks, while affect was extremely uncalled for – they could have gotten DNA from saliva instead of his broken nose. Will his new level jeopardize a mission? We know May is still angry even if Andrew lived and Daisy and Mack are questioning Hunter so will it be talking to Bobbi that brings him back some or will it be someone else, maybe Rosalind, who gets him to slow down. Hunter’s 50/50 liking right now.
I agree with Taltos about wanting to see more of the gray with Rosalind’s operation. I did love the “What?” “What?” moment with May at the bank. Nice podcast.
