CommentI’m happy to hear about the renewals; I wonder if “Agent Carter” will still be 8 episodes long for their season or if it’ll have a longer season next year?
I’m glad they didn’t make a big out of the Ultron situation because honestly it would have felt out of place given the arcs of the season; this season has felt more like a build-up to the inhumans of course and Civil War more than it has Ultron, but maybe that’s just me. Ultron would have felt like a C storyline had they made a big deal to include it so I’m glad they hinted at it, but it wasn’t required watching; it is also good because not everyone has seen the film yet still. Again could only be me though.
I’m 50/50 regarding Raina and if she can be trusted; I think she can to a point when it comes to the inhumans, but I can also see her using them in ways as well and using her visions to gain people on her side. Raina has always loved power we know so I can see her embracing this group but still being Raina in using her powers to influence things; I think she wants to be the one controlling at least herself and not Jaiying. Raina is a good wild card.
Jaiying was very Magneto in the last scene; I can understand her wanting to protect her group but she did it in the wrong way in that moment it felt, arguably extreme; the gray factor has been great with debates this season. I kind of lean towards Skye helping the inhumans until she finds out what her mother did and that pushes her back to S.H.I.E.L.D. because she feels she can best help the group there by trying to change policies regarding the Index also because she can’t trust Jaiying right then due to her starting the war so she won’t follow her. Season three feels like for Skye she’ll be trying to find a balance between inhumans and S.H.I.E.L.D.; it’ll create more intriguing talks.
I get why Jaiying wouldn’t want to run, but still she’s not handling the situation that well attacking first.
