Agents of SHIELD Season 6 Episode 11 Review: From the Ashes
As Agents of SHIELD clearly builds towards its season 6 finale, “From the Ashes” takes a deeply emotional turn, and we love it! Whether enjoying Deke’s approval by his grandparents, suffering with Benson as he deals with his guilt, rejoicing at the reconciliation between Mack and Yoyo, or gasping with Daisy as she witnesses bits of Coulson rising to the surface in Sarge, this episode pulled on all the heartstrings.
Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for “From the Ashes,” (no Faith’s S.H.I.E.L.D.S.A.S.S. feature this week), and our listener feedback segment! This week we talk about Daisy’s extreme measures, Deke’s belt buckle idea, May’s surprising sensitivity, Izel’s ingenuity, Sarge’s awakening powers, and Flint’s unusual return. Remember to join the Agents of SHIELD (and other Marvel properties) discussion on Facebook and follow us on Twitter for the latest news and live tweets during the episode. Maybe the monoliths are why they picked Flint to use because for me he made no sense being a fear for the two. It’s plot for the sake of plot in that case but they’ve done worse arguably on convenient elements.
If they have Sarge join the team he better be just an agent and not someone in command because if they have him as their leader or even a leader that’s like doing Coulson without calling him Coulson if he isn’t as extreme as he is now and again NO TO COPPING OUT ON THE DEATHS! It would also be interesting to have someone to from leader to just an agent and how do they deal with that but more importantly NO COPPING OUT! If they cop out on him I may not watch the final season because consequences will mean nothing essentially; I’ll just watch the Skimmons stuff online and call it a day.
I love how many times you two said it’s a two hour deal next week because ABC sure didn’t; they need to be clear on that as it matters for DVRs/VCRs (yes those still exists ha).
