Agents of SHIELD Season 6 Episode 7 Review: Toldja
Although “Toldja” wasn’t our favorite episode of Agents of SHIELD this season, there was plenty of emotional dialogue between characters to gain our appreciation. As a result, this mid-season installment felt like a pivot point towards other exciting developments, especially considering we have a two-parter coming up next week.
Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for “Toldja,” Faith’s S.H.I.E.L.D.S.A.S.S. Report, and our listener feedback segment! This week we talk about Mack’s odd interrogation technique, Daisy’s denial, Sarge’s confidence, Jaco’s special powers, Enoch’s heartfelt goodbye, and some squandered guest actor opportunities. Remember to join the Agents of SHIELD (and other Marvel properties) discussion on Facebook and follow us on Twitter for the latest news and live tweets during the episode. I agree had Fitz died and they didn’t tell Deke that would have been wrong, the thing is though Fitz isn’t dead so again that felt like a waste of screen time to me. Jeff did well acting wise but the plot was pointless because they didn’t kill Fitz.
Daisy is just letting Deke down easily. 🙂
I will say one aspect of the containment scene I loved was the fact the demon birds could still use their powers because they’re not Inhumans like a Daisy or YoYo so their powers should accurately work so that was a nice bit of continuity to me. It was still dumb to put them in the same box together but plot. Ha.
