Agents of SHIELD Season 6 Episode 5 Review: The Other Thing
Storylines begin to merge in the latest Agents of SHIELD episode, “The Other Thing,” and we’re wondering what Daisy will think about fake Coulson and when Fitz and Simmons will return. In the meantime, the holes in Sarge’s history seem to point towards something else going on, but we’re happy with the Philinda flashback.
Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for “The Other Thing,” and our listener feedback segment! The “Exhausting.” remark about Deke was funny. π
My question is what happened to the planet Cronicon 1? Saying it’s number 2 definitely brings up questions; why name it that at the start?
That is totally fair Faith, May does get a crap ton put on her emotionally; I don’t think she’ll ever become an emotional less void but they’re working on testing her for it at times! Embrace happy May for at least a season show! π If we’re giving out honorable sass I think Sarge saying “Because you have violent tendencies.” or Piper saying “Because you’re whiney bitch.” wins this week; I lean towards Sarge. π
100% agree Darryl that was bull YoYo basically threw Benson under the bus; again she has super speed – arguably if anyone is to blame on the bird getting side of him it’s her! That pretty much put me off of her this week. We may see their relationship in a different way but I agree bring back Skimmons!!! π
A lot of times when you see a number after a space name it’s referring to its sequence from that system’s star. So of Chronica is the name of the star, Chronica-2 would be the second planet from that star. In that sense, Earth might also be known as Sol-3.
Thanks Mike! That was definitely driving me a bit crazy each time they said it because I was like “Why not just go to the first planet? Are you saying your back up planet was wiped out too?”; I also laughed when Alta was all “We need involvement!” but yet she’s going to get on Enooch for involving himself, it’s very much a double standard so I’m looking forward to see how she reacts if someone calls her on that. Maybe Jemma will, she can be sassy when she’s in dark mode. π
