It was an exciting week in Central City and Starling City. There were explosions, hallucinations, and fights to the death. There were secrets revealed, soul searching, dating and hot peppers. Did you miss it? Go back and look there was definitely a hot pepper involved somewhere. Just another day in the life of a superhero.

In Central City Barry struggled to balance dating with police work. Linda became particularly suspicious when the police station said Barry had taken some personal days. We then traveled back in time to the day of the particle accelerator explosion. This time we were given more details from the point of view of Martin Stein. In present-day the fusion between Stein and Ronnie became unstable. If nothing was done he would become a nuclear bomb.

Meanwhile in StarIng City Count Vertigo returned. Laurel was shot with Vertigo and hallucinated Sarah. Laurel and Sarah battled and Sarah called her an addict that could never take her place. Oliver shared his secret with Thea. Oliver also had to accept that in his absence his team learned how to get along without him. Thea slept with the enemy quite literally and a battle broke out in her apartment. Merlin and Roy came to her aid. Captain Lance had to face his daughter’s death all over again.

Back in Central City Joe asked Cisco for help. He wanted to re-examine the circumstances of Nora Allen’s murder. Through some cool science Cisco re-created the murder scene using evidence left on the back of a mirror. Blood spatter found on the wall is discovered to belong to an adult Barry Allen. WHAT? Barry was a kid and she was his mom. How is that possible?

Oliver is leaving Team Arrow to defend the city. Oliver, Merlin, and Thea have other goals. The League is out for blood and they must prepare. Will Merlin betray them in the end? These were two amazing episodes. Which one comes out on top is for you to decide. Do you want more superhero fun? Tune in to the CW Tuesdays 8/7c for The Flash.
