Welcome once again dear listeners to “Don’t Blink”. This week we review the season 11, episode 8 of the Doctor Who. It’s called “The Witchfinders”.
The Doctor is attempting to take her friends to see the coronation of Elizabeth I. Team TARDIS lands in early 17th century England in the midst of a witch trial, and despite her own non-interference policy, the Thirteenth Doctor cannot help but try and stop the killings. However, with King James growing suspicious of the Doctor and her ways, it is up to her to play Witchfinder General and her friends to play Witchfinders. Together they must uncover the hidden mysteries behind the trials.
Join us once again as we discuss all this and more!

Becca was a great bad guy for this episode and I enjoyed her more than King James. I guess I was expecting more drama than comedy from Alan but I wasn’t crazy about him in this episode.
Alan was good in “Spy Kids”.
I think technically Yaz did the most if we’re talking about plot progression but yeah I can also go with Jada saying it was Ryan because he had to babysit James. 🙂
I could see this King James liking Ryan.
It was annoying James dismissed Doctor because she was a woman but also fitting of the time; I think I would have been more annoyed if this was modern/future times and he did it but back in the day it’s annoying for sure to be dismissed like that but they’re doing things from the past and now people should do better you know? I did love how Becca saw the paper as saying Doctor was the General because as a woman she wanted to hope for better for the sex maybe and also she would only stop for the General but James didn’t value women as much so he only saw assistant as Doctor’s title when he saw the paper. Again I loved Jodie’s looks to both because she never knows what they’re going to see but she also specifically had a look of “What?” regarding how the paper could change for James who demoted her.
