Also I’m really need Emiko to change her costume because the more I look at it the more it looks like a take on Nyssa’s suit and I’m not okay with Emiko mimicking Nyssa!
Tommy giving Oliver crap all episode is my favorite moment! 🙂
I agree with Cammie, Emiko would have at the very least injured Felicity because if you want to hurt Oliver that would do it especially as it would also effect Mia so it’s just added revenge. There is no love lost between Emiko and this group so she will do whatever she wants unless they give her a reason not to.
“I’m okay with some team members…others not so much.” – ha yes stick with it Cammie. 🙂
I’m with Flash, I can’t see Oliver killing Emiko at this point.
Personally I’m more into the future villain because I want to see how deep it goes and just who’s over who and why; again Emiko isn’t bad but she could be better and because I doubt they’ll kill her as that would kind of set back Oliver’s growth arguably you can guess her outcome to a point so the mystery of the future is making it more interesting in this moment. Satisfactory wise Emiko may be better at the end of the day seeing resolved but who am I interested in currently – future villain.
I agree it’s not Elena’s fault Archer became what it is but it is her fault for it existing still so Felicity has a right to be mad about that I feel in regards to her.
Cammie said it perfectly on her after show – Dinah’s writing is inconsistent at best; what makes it super annoying is it’s inconsistent in even the same episode! Dinah has flipped flopped positions this season about as many times as Oliver has ever felt beholden to what Robert told him thus setting him on this mission. I still love the character but I do miss her early self because she does feel just there; it is okay to have Dinah be the “bad guy” and say maybe this time Roy couldn’t be saved, she’s had no problems calling out the team before…it’s almost like they wrapped up everything they wanted to do with her last season when they thought S7 would be the last season but they also didn’t want to let the character go just yet possibly because they knew what the spin off would be. Financially it’s an amazing job right now playing Dinah because you just show up and say random stuff in the moment and get paid but if you’re into the creation of a character she has to be the most frustrating to do each week because she’s so inconsistent scene to scene, you can’t really invest in your portrayal of anger because 5 seconds later you’re probably going to be apologizing to the character and saying how sorry you are or crying because X almost died even though you don’t know X; I don’t know how Juliana personally feels but if I was in her shoes I have to say I’d probably feel a little frustrated everyone else has a solid feeling character where as I just say random things basically. Yes you could argue that speaks to her acting talent to switch so fast between emotions but from a viewer’s POV I have to say it’s just giving me whiplash and missing the old pre-season 7 Dinah.
“They’ve activated the contingency clause” – lol!
To be fair to the future stuff, the one thing that keeps it still a little interesting with characters is who’s to say the writers don’t change something – like for example we spend all this time seeing this bad future with characters thinking it’s the future but something happens in the past/present to change it such as maybe Roy dies in the past/present on this mission and the future changes or Emiko kills Elena in the bunker which actually stops Archer. True because we know there’s a new season after this it does let you know X, Y, and Z are still in play but if this was the last season then that would be a twist so I can see how the writers think tension still exists with the plots. I will agree though on the whole future peaks like this usually do demolish the tension.
