Monty here:
How to destroy a city in a comic book superhero series? Question asked, well here are some answers.
1. Poison the water supply.
2. Short out the power grid.
3. Stage a super hero brawl.
4. Earthquake.
5. Steer an asteroid into it.
6. Send in a Typhoid Mary crew.
7. Variant on 5, orbital bombardment using a particle beam.
8. Infect the mail.
9. Buy up everything and evict everybody.
10. Elect a lousy mayor and city council.
11. Tidal wave.
12. Weather machine.
13. Have an industrial waste spill.
14. Invite the Flash in a crossover to screw up the time-line.
15. Invite Supergirl over for a visit. The alien invasion will automatically follow her.
How is that for starters? Enough stories for eight seasons and I bomb Star City only once.

Watch “Supergirl” too, we’re not on break! 🙂
What if the “I’m the leader” thing is kind of like Nyssa in that she is the heir to the Ninth Circle but Dante is her Raz so he’s still the lead but it’s understood Emiko is going to be the leader after him? If she’s not the heir then yeah it’s weird because they hyped up Dante to be the lead and Emiko just seems too young still for some to follow her; plus the Circle was set up before she was in the group wasn’t it? I mean really let’s be honest about what this is – Emiko is bad so Black Siren doesn’t have to be which is CRAP; there’s so many shifts to this Emiko story going all the way back to her being able to kill Diaz in jail but not Oliver in Slabside and she’s avoiding him and the group at the start but she wants him to trust her and it’s all just a mess because they want to redeem Siren and I’M SO ANGRY!!! True Emiko can be a bad guy too if they want but let’s be real it’s Siren we want as the baddie of the season it Emiko. #BitterTowardsABlackSirenRedemption
I hear angry cats who want to make their thoughts on the episode heard also. Tell them kitties! Ha.
She did watch the promo for next week Cammie, she is stressed! 🙂 I can’t say this with enough pleases – PLEASE let Black Siren be talking to the team and mean it when she says this was a long con…let her be the anti villain/anti hero she is at least! The title “Lost Canary” definitely has me sweating with more redemption pushes; stop with the redemption arc show no one wants it! Ugh and we have to wait two weeks to see what’s going to happen, this stress level may be the end of me; speaking of the wait, why are we taking a break and changing times in the middle of a season basically – it feels weird.
Nice attempted sell Flash but I’ve seen Ava, they can do serious some so I’m still bitter. 🙂 I will make a deal with them however, if they do a Pinocchio story with Ava where she saves the team because she’s not “a real boy” as it were and she gets to throw that back at Mick some I will bring up Nyssa less. I’ll still want her on though because I have unfinished Nyssara feelings. 🙂
I’m sure Caity has been asked and said yeah she wants to work with her because she enjoys Katrina and that plot but right now she’s kind of focused on promoting Avalance as that is Sara’s current big relationship; I know for a fact Katrina has said Nyssa shouldn’t move on from Sara just because she’s off space banging everyone else because I personally asked her as my Nyssara heart was sad one con. Katrina did say you shouldn’t feel bad for Nyssa because she’s getting hers too but Sara is it for Nyssa as far as true love so she’ll wait for her to come back whenever she’s ready. I’ll admit Avalance is sweet at times but again I have serious unresolved Nysssara feelings so I need someone to help work them out and “Arrow” isn’t going to at this point so I’m very into seeing Sara run into older Nyssa and what that signals for their relationship or an alternate timeline Nyssa to see how that would be; Cammie is right I just need more Nyssa Flash! 🙂
HARDCORE disagree with you Kev, “Supergirl”‘s stunt crew with the character of Alex Danvers is way better than “Arrow”. Honestly for me, outside of this season and part of last which have been really good, “Arrow” always had the worst fights not because they didn’t feel like people worked hard just they made some choices that didn’t feel based in reality and I know this is comic books but still they’re meant to feel real and yet you have guys standing around waiting to get beat up essentially and explosions for the sake of them really so until recently I was not a fan of their work I have to say. This season and last have had some great fights I agree but as a whole I have to disagree with them being the best.
Wouldn’t Diggle be the oldest given he’s older than Oliver by a bit? I can see Dinah and Oliver around the same age though and then down like you say.
I REALLY wish they would stop with Siren getting upset in any form over Quentin – he is not her dad, she does not know him personally enough to be this affected by his death and idea of her arguably, and can we seriously just stop with glorifying his problematic push of Laurel’s identity onto Siren with her being upset in response to him?! It is extremely toxic in particular I feel with that last point. Again to say Siren wants to be Laurel or is Laurel simply because Quentin pushed the idea on to her is extremely insulting to both women and it needs to stop; never say his name in conjunctions with hers unless you are talking about Laurel 1 and him because they had the relationship – Black Siren had him forcing his dead daughter’s life onto her because he couldn’t let go, it doesn’t make her her!
“I find her aversion to Oliver fantastic.” – same! 🙂
I’m with you Flash, it would be great to see Emiko at this point just say no to Oliver but they still have the “who shot her mom” plot to reveal so I think she’ll come over to their side when it’s revealed Dante did it or ordered it done and then Oliver can be the man again Robert wasn’t by welcoming Emiko in officially. If they need someone to stay evil there’s always Black Siren. 😉
I really hope Alena doesn’t mess over Felicity; I’ll admit Kev that was a fear seeing her join on but hopefully she’s on the side of good with this and it’s actually just someone else using it in a way Felicity didn’t intend that makes the future bad!
Not a different Aaron, Flash was right it was me who sent the DOG article. 🙂 I wonder, is it unfair to say Diaz transferring to the next season is bad in theory because a smaller bad guy moving up to be the big bad next season is new but it’s just Diaz as a character is so uninteresting to most of us that’s what we disagree with instead. For example had Siren become the big bad after seeming just like the muscle the season before would people enjoy it more because we enjoy here where as Diaz again we don’t so him coming over isn’t an exciting move but the concept of the move itself isn’t horrible if that makes sense.
Was it just me or did Emiko’s black and red gear make anyone else think of Nyssa? Maybe it’s just because she was on last week and I still miss her but the gear just reminded me of her color scheme minus the cape she kind of has. True Nyssa’s red is more maroon but still.
“You’re right, I don’t know who you are and I don’t think you do either…and that’s what scares me.” – Dinah is easily my favorite this season team wise because she hates Black Siren’s redemption as much as me! 🙂 Stop trying to redeem Black Siren show as she’s FAR more interesting as her bad guy self; if you just HAVE to push it though keep her an anti hero at least because again it’s way more interesting and way less insulting to Laurel and Siren who are individuals not interchangeable! Also same Emiko who says it was a joke Black Siren was calling herself a hero. True it’s not impossible she could become one but it is unrealistic she would become one so soon; these people are not her versions of people, their dynamics are not the same, just because Quentin forces Laurel’s life onto her because he has issues letting go does not make Siren Laurel, she’s happy being the bad guy and has shown no honest desire to turn (just because there’s a plot doesn’t meant it’s not manufactured feeling over organic progression at times), and as always she owes them nothing so why would she want to be a hero and play nice with them currently?! I get using their built in excuse of saying she’s Laurel to really mess things up for them but beyond that what does she have to interact with them over? I’ll give you she’s cute with Felicity at times and I love her banter with Dinah but those things does not a good guy make after basically a week of knowing each other.
Carey I’d take Black Siren on “Batwoman” as long as she’s an anti hero/anti villain.
I have to disagree with you slightly Stormy, Black Siren doesn’t have daddy issues Quentin has daughter issues which he forced on Siren and now she’s paying for that storywise but she herself didn’t fully start with Daddy issues. I know they had her say she felt guilty for her dad’s death but that one instance doesn’t a bad guy make so I can’t say for me I’d say she has daddy issues – not like they’re pushing anyways. Stop pushing the redemption show!
Ugh just hearing the title again “Lost Canary” makes me want to hurl – BLACK SIREN IS NOT A CANARY!
LOL Montefescu to your number 14! He doesn’t even have to be in town though to do that. Also I’m pretty sure “Flash” has a weather villain so they’ve covered your number 12. #15 is totally fair. Ha. “Supergirl” kind of did number 1. I’m actually surprised #9 hasn’t been an episode for someone; “Arrow” kind of started that but never really finished. I’m pretty sure 10 has been done by someone.
