[sc:astop]As Oliver Queen struggles to squelch the rising questions and leaks exposing a connection between the Green Arrow and Star City’s mayor, his team comes face-to-face with a familiar Russian friend/enemy. Tension mounts as Diggle is forced to bring to light secrets that are incapacitating him, while Felicity and Curtis have an idea that may help the team going forward. Meanwhile, Oliver also struggles with issues at home, as fathering William is turning out to be a more complex job that it seemed.
This fall and spring Arrow will be airing on a NEW night on Thursdays at 8pm ET. Our podcast episodes will be posted the following Saturday/Sunday, so we can accept email/voice feedback through Friday night – and maybe an early Saturday morning submission might make it in if you’re quick. 🙂

I wonder how much Thea will be in bed for her season arc; hopefully she’ll get out before the end of it for at least a 1/3 of her arc but it wouldn’t surprise me if she was in bed for most of it.
I’ll grant you Flash week one “Arrow” was the best, but week two went to “Supergirl” for me as “Triggers” edged out “Tribute”.
“I don’t know maybe WebMD has gotten more powerful.” – lol Flash! As for the suit, you should know it takes a bit to work into that leather. 🙂
For me the “Arrow” fights are actually the worst fights of the superhero shows I watch because they feel very choreographed as you have bad guys just waiting their turn to get beat up where as on other shows the fights feel more organic or realistic. I understand they’d been harder to shoot but I’d love to see a team member fight multiple opponents at one time; if they’re taking down one at a time it’s because one is on the floor getting back up as the other is going down or there’s equal bad guys to good guys in the scenes instead of bad guy 2 just standing around until bad guy one goes down. Literally last week I saw a bad guy holster his weapon to fist fight Arrow – when does that makes sense?! I get if he’s fighting Slade or someone with an honor code but an every day bad guy should be shooting the team from a distance or jumping them when distracted to beat them because just waiting your turn does not work well. Overall the fights in “Tribute” were some of the better fights I’ve seen on the series but still “Arrow” is usually a miss on realism in this department for me.
The arrow shot sound clip was cool, but I feel it would work better for the ratings lead in as it feels like posting your ratings in the key of Robin Hood nailing up a declaration with an arrow or your ratings hit the mark for the episode. To me “favorite moments” sounds more like a “Price Is Right” win sound than the arrow, but that’s just me!
Re: Diggle and Dinah – Cammie you stay out of your lane! The calling shots are awesome to hear. 🙂 Speaking of, I saw the “You know who else probably enjoyed it? Dinah.” hit coming the second Flash started talking about David, who is like a walking attractive wall, but it was still classic! Ha.
To be fair to the discussion I’m going to throw in my feelings on “Hottest” and vote Nyssa as my top in the CW Superhero debate; you can’t beat that accent. 🙂
I can’t see them doing a crossover with “Gotham” as 1) Bruce is too young to be Batman despite how the series is pushing that plot and 2) it’s on a separate network opposite some of CW’s shows so I’m find with that not happening but I do like the mentions to Gotham. We have Clark on “Supergirl” now so I’m just waiting for a hardcore Diana reference from someone to complete the Trinity team. I’d love if J’onn did it as that’s be a great wink-nod to him as part of the Justice League ala “Justice League” cartoon by Bruce Timms continuity. Speaking of, that’s a fabulous series I recommend everyone check out!
I agree with Cammie regarding William’s intellect. I wonder if Flash is still William’s favorite superhero? It would be cute to see Oliver call in Barry in costume to earn points with William. 🙂 I am all for Zoe coming back as she and Renee are more intriguing to me than Oliver and William; that said I DO NOT want to see a Zoe/William romance!
A nice theory on Bethany Cammie; she could be who’s leaking the photos or she could be someone who helps the team when they need cover on events.
I wonder if the tension between John and Dinah over his injury will cause friction amongst the team thus leading to issues during John’s tenure? Maybe the boys wonder why Dinah is ignoring John’s commands seemingly or they notice something not quite right with him and try calling him out or asking her only to get shut down…that would be a good time for Thea to wake up and tell the group to knock the lying off. Ha. A bow is definitely going to be harder to use than a gun for John due to the pull regarded to fire some shots thus I wonder if the Dragon death might be an accident but the son still blames Arrow Diggle; it could also be an intentional kill, it’s going to be an interesting plot!
Given it was seemingly fairly easy for him to help Felicity I could see Curtis patching up John with a chip.
