This week takes us further into Oliver’s history with the Russian mob, as Kovar returns in the flashbacks, and his impending face-off with Oliver and Anatoli builds in potential danger and long-term ramifications. In present day, Star City is forced to go without its hero for a week, as the Green Arrow has been captured by Prometheus, who has one goal: to teach Oliver a lesson about himself. Surprising faces return in both the flashbacks and in Star City as the Green Arrow is forced to look into his past and future to find what Prometheus/Chase wants from him.

Nice “20/20” transition sound effect Flash!
I’m glad costumed Felicity is going to be on LEGENDS because I’m personally one of the fans who doesn’t want to see her in a mask on “Arrow”; when everyone is in a mask it makes it all that more special for Felicity that she’s not, she’s a hero without a mask and that’s important to show on superhero series as well. I will say the concept image looks great, she kind of favors Huntress’s costume, but I’m glad it’s not really Felicity. It’s going to be interesting to see Sara’s reaction to alt Felicity!
“The Flash” musical was okay; the ending killed most joy for it because of how quickly it put Mon and Kara back together after the LITERALLY just broke up the night before so that was cliché and ruined a lot of positive feelings I had about the episode personally, probably because I can’t buy them as a healthy couple currently, but if you’re a Barry/Iris person it was a good episode and fun for a filler episode in parts. “Super Friends!” was a cute moment as well; “Running Home To You” might be the best song of the episode.
Great picks for “Favorite Scene” this week!
I agree it did work better not showing Team Arrow until the end. A great point by Green Butterfly – how did they explain the mayor missing? I didn’t mind the violence personally this week, it fit the show, but I agree with her in that I wish they’d said more in the present scenes – as you both said the stuff with Evelyne was great and the mental stuff Adrian pulled with Felicity’s glasses was good but there were some dead space moments you could argue.
A good podcast episode as usual!
