Following the reveal that Adrian Chase, the District Attorney, is Prometheus, Oliver and the team set out to find him and stop him, and hopefully in the process clear the Green Arrow’s name in public opinion. Prometheus is one step ahead, however, as he has Susan held hostage, forcing Oliver, Diggle, Felicity, and the rest of the team into moral dilemmas as they determine just how far they will go to stop Prometheus’s plan. With surprising allies on either side, this episode explores how formidable of a foe the team is facing.

Wait, who are you guys again? Ha. I definitely missed you guys last week, it’s fun talking “Arrow” with you!
Prometheus is definitely a great villain challenge wise for Oliver because as he said here he’s 10 steps ahead and Oliver doesn’t even know the game but that said his long term plan is questionable based on some of the reveals here. I like they saved Susan because she’s innocent. Flash not faster than the common cold!
Maybe Adrian wants S1 Oliver back because that’s who killed his father not this “nicer” version…that way he can really say he killed the man who killed his father? Adrian’s endgame is definitely still a mystery. Why use Adrian to kill Oliver though when she can easily do it herself that’s the part that’s confusing me with Talia…what does Adrian bring to the assault that she doesn’t?
Agree about Anatoli being awesome this season! I sadly agree with Flash a bit regarding Felicity, she felt kind of like someone out of their depth and Helix came to her so it doesn’t actually add up at times. I don’t know if you’ve read the EW spoilers for Felicity, here’s the link ew. com/tv/2017/03/17/spoiler-room-once-upon-time-arrow-riverdale/ , but here’s what it said “Can you provide any Felicity scoop for Arrow? – Sarah
Aligning with Helix, and therefore using even more unconventional methods than she does with Team Arrow, is certainly going to take Felicity to an interesting place – in particular, one in which she may come to understand her ex a bit better. “We’re starting to put her in Oliver’s footsteps a little bit,” EP Marc Guggenheim says. “She’s going to get a chance to experience things a little bit more from Oliver’s perspective. I think the reason they broke up was her difficulty to see things from Oliver’s perspective. They broke up fundamentally because she didn’t trust Oliver, and the reason she didn’t trust Oliver is she couldn’t understand why he made the decisions he made.””; I actually disagree with what Marc said, Felicity broke up with Oliver because he kept secrets and didn’t trust people (he tried to do it alone instead of working with his team), it may have been a little bit about bit understanding where he was coming from but that’s only because sometimes Oliver made things harder than they needed to be so maybe that’s why Flash is having an issue with Felicity currently – it’s because she’s Oliver-Felicity instead of Felicity-Felicity. I personally don’t mind them putting Felicity in gray areas to have personal experience on the hard choices Oliver has made, although I do feel that was a better plot for Evelyne given she thought he was just a horrible killer so being in those positions might help her see Oliver though he was doing good at times and made the best choice he could, but Felicity isn’t Oliver and that’s what helped Oliver in part be a better man and again her understanding tough choices doesn’t take away his lying so I felt this explanation actually brought concern to me for where this plot might be going for Felicity. It was all fun when we thought she was going back to her pre-good guy arguably side since this has been a season about the past but hearing them say it’s to make her like Oliver for a bit so she can understand him even though she understood him fine before and that’s why she called him out on his missteps just brings down the Felicity with Helix for me. What are your thoughts?
YES to the nitpick about Dinah’s cry and using it to break down the wall instead of waiting for Curtis! I think Susan is actually an interesting addition and I loved the debate about is she genuine or is she playing Oliver for some reason and then what was she going to do with his secret and it has all been good, although I’m not crazy about the romance because I like Oliver with Felicity, until they turned her into someone who’s easily caught and used as bait…that to me was disappointing; at least have Adrian say she put up a fight or something because it felt like she went from badass to just bait in one second which wasn’t fun. I will agree with Cammie in grabbing Susan felt kind of easy and definitely tropey because if you say you know Oliver then yes he’ll come for Susan but if you want to break him like Prometheus says he does then you take someone like Thea or Felicity; he may still go after them given the pictures on the cell wall in the promo but it definitely made me groan when they used Susan for bait after all the building up they did with her – she totally would have put up a fight. It’s not going to surprise me if Oliver’s violent lifestyle is the reason they break up eventually.
A Talia centric episode…maybe with bonus Nyssa? Yes; that would be cool! Susan working with Prometheus would have been better than being just bait! Dinah is awesome so far! No to bringing in William please – too many negative S4 vibes with him.
Nice Wonder Woman comment Cammie.
