In the aftermath of the call for Oliver’s impeachment, the team must decide how far they are willing to go to protect Oliver’s identity as the Green Arrow and his job as mayor. Prometheus and Vigilante also clash forces, as both set their sights closer on Oliver, and a shocking reveal puts into perspective just how close the danger is for Mayor Queen. Meanwhile, Felicity and Thea work to counter the media attacks against Oliver, leading Thea to reconsider her involvement, and leading Felicity to consider deepening her stake in this. Amidst the fighting, Curtis works with new tech and old flames, and Diggle, Dinah, Rene, Lance, and the remaining team members still on the side of the Green Arrow, must work together to find a solution to the city’s resurgent fight against their hero.
Listen in to hear Cammie and The Flash discuss “Fight Fire with Fire” (5×15). As always we love getting feedback from the Arrow Squad members so please send in your thoughts too!

Tell us all Flash’s dirty little secrets Harley! Ha.
“It because I’m right behind you!” – lol!
Yay more Lyla! Also can we get back baby Sara already; John Jr can stay too but baby Sara just has that full circle impact being named after Sara Lance! Katrina Law would be great to see on LEGENDS as older Nyssa with one grey streak in her hair, ala Astra on “Supergirl” because being around the Lazarus Pit has effected her aging, venting to Sara about being late to their anniversary because the gang popped into that time following someone and we get to see older Nyssa kick butt like usual; again until that happens also acceptable Sara runs into Talia to see what their dynamic is like. Glad to hear you enjoy blog posts, I know they’re long but hopefully they’re always worth the read.
I like the mental game Adrian is playing with Oliver, he’s luring him into a false sense of security almost but I wasn’t surprised he’s Prometheus given that’s been a fan theory for awhile and one that made a lot of sense when you consider the various ways Adrian can influence things from his position. He’s been a suspect for me for so long I would have been actually more surprised at him not being Prometheus than I am he is. I’m with Harley, Prometheus was said to be the son so Adrian would be the son since he’s Prometheus; as she said Chase could be his mother’s maiden name or just an undercover name and not even real at all kind of like Dinah was calling herself Tina when we first met her.
If Pike wanted to kill Oliver he could have at the graveyard in “Sin-Eater” so I don’t think it’s him. No idea on Vigilante; according to an EW spoiler we won’t learn about him until possibly next season even. They need to do more character building with him to really make him feel solid as Flash said because right now Vigilante feels more like a nuance bug you want to smack away rather than taking in actions like we are with Prometheus because he’s been built up as the big bad and we’ve seen more of him. Vigilante is coming off to me as a random villain who the gang will take down one season and we’ll see him in another as the big bad who’s been orchestrating things behind the scenes, I don’t think that’s actually going to happen but that’s just how he feels right now because he’s just kind of there…we know he dislikes Oliver but can anyone remember why other than because? Maybe he’s going to be the next season big bad in which case why not bring him in closer to the season end to transition into next season or show him this season being effected by what’s going on so he turns into Vigilante in order to do things kind of like things with Darkh inspired Renee to be Wild Dog? I just don’t get the point of Vigilante currently; again maybe more will be explained in the coming episodes but as of right now he just feels like a neat costumed time suck aspect to me.
Thea’s stuff was really interesting yet sad this episode because it’s such a shift for Thea but the moves she’s making are interesting for their long term consequences. I agree with Cammie regarding Oliver’s reactions to some of Thea’s stuff; I will say I get him not wanting to throw Billy under the bus because that could upset Felicity more and he doesn’t want that and he killed Billy so using him would just make that even worse so I like he said no to that and I understand he’s upset Susan’s upset and he doesn’t want Thea to become Moira in that way and certainly not Malcolm so he’s trying to save her in that regard hoping she’ll do better than he did but reacting so harshly didn’t make sense as what was he going go to do to stop Susan if she wanted to tell? As Cammie said he killed a guy for seeing his face all Thea did was get her fired and it’s not like Oliver hasn’t made moves without telling the group so I get him wanting better for Thea but I don’t get him being that angry with her. He could have said he was disappointed and talked to her about it but the way he acted like she almost killed Susan was a bit off. I know her career is her life so it is almost killing her in that way but this wasn’t a problem that Felicity couldn’t fix and yes Susan didn’t tell but Thea had no reason to trust what Susan would say especially after she set Thea up in articles before. Are these the best moves by Thea? Arguably no. Are they understandable moves? Yes.
Felicity and Helix could be interesting. They did go creepy with Adrian at the end which felt like heavy handed; based on the promo it feels like they’re going typical “Kidnap the girl” plot with Susan which feels like a waste next to Susan maybe being in league with him somehow.
I’m not that upset at Oliver asking Felicity to help Susan because it was Felicity along with Thea who got her fired and since Thea isn’t a computer whiz it’s on Felicity to fix it; it was very tense vibe wise though but not that weird. Over the line would have been if Oliver asked Felicity if it was okay to use Billy as Thea had suggested.
Nice special guest job by Harley!
