Agents of SHIELD Season 5 Episode 21 Review: The Force of Gravity
“The Force of Gravity” holds several meanings in this week’s Agents of SHIELD, not just the obvious power wielded by Glenn Talbot a.k.a. Graviton. It also could refer to the triumphant moment for Philinda shippers as their beloved couple finally came together, or a case could be made that the gravity of family is pulling the fractured team back together as well. It certainly acted as a wonderful build-up to the finale!

This week we talk about that amazing kiss, Daisy’s speech about family, Talbot’s continuing mental issues, Mack’s reconciliation with Yoyo, Deke’s increasing usefulness, the narrowing down of the villain quotient, and the crucial decision facing the team with regard to the use of the Centipede serum.

Jeff Ward (Deke) Teases Finale

Happy 100 guys; it’s well earned!
We now know the show is coming back so the question for me is who’s coming with them because I don’t know if it’ll be a satisfying end if everyone comes back Because they’ve done so much there has to be payoff; does that mean people have to die, it depends on what’s in the final, but should some characters retire thus leaving I’d argue yes as I just can’t see this group as is continuing the way they are unless that’s part of season 6 – continuing to build the reunion. We’ll see how it goes but I’m still back and forth on some topics.
Daisy’s reaction to the kiss was perfection!
I’m voting for “I know 6!” in the CoulSass poll!
I agree about your podcast being great!
Freezing Coulson is a fair option Don. Also agree to bringing back Ruby! If we’re changing things I think one of the ways to make the series better would be Skimmons, they would be SUCH a great romance together for multiple reasons; not doing Skimmons will always be one of the biggest failures of the series for me!
Had they played the season different it would be one thing regarding the alive/dead debate but given they’ve hyped up death so much this season they have to pay it off with a big character I feel otherwise they risk cheapening death in the world or at the very least making it a more debated plot than it would be if they don’t pay it off and have everyone survive because they’re fan favorites. It’s vary conflicting. It’s like should the team reunite given the fights that have happened – yes they can if you want them all there but should they? It’s quantity over quality almost; again not going to knock anyone who wants the complete happy ending but for me in this series there’s got to be some dramatic pay off.
Nice guesses Talbot!
I agree with Faith, that was a very Magneto type scene with Talbot this week.
