Watch your necks, them frisbees are dangerous! No other movie will give you more cringes as it does laughs as the so-bad-it’s-good, “Hard Ticket to Hawaii” and Cory and Nathan’s rewatch may be around the same level…

Hard Ticket to Hawaii (1987):

Two drug enforcement agents are killed on a private Hawaiian island. Donna and Taryn, two operatives for The Agency (Molokai Cargo), accidentally intercept a delivery of diamonds intended for drug lord Seth Romero, who takes exception and tries to get them back. Soon other Agency operatives get involved, and a full-scale fight to the finish ensues, complicated here and there by a contaminated snake made deadly by toxic cancer-infested rats!

Summary:

We love this movie! Cory has seen this countless time and still enjoys it greatly. It’s a movie that strives for the heights of every great action film but it just doesn’t have the money or the talent to get there, but there in lies the genius. Nathan saw it for the first time and truly fell in love with it. It’s a tough film to figure out, in that was it made terrible on purpose or did the director actually believe his work was solid? At the end of the day, we don’t care. This movie is so much damn fun that it’s a must see for the lover of a good bit of trash cinema. High recommend!

What’s Up Next?:

With the newest instalment on the way in October, we’re heading into the Halloween franchise. But that isn’t enough! With Jamie Lee Curtis reprising her role as Laurie Strode in the upcoming instalment, we’ve decided to dig deeper into her horror and triller efforts as well. A huge rewatch series ahead.

Finally, we will also be taking a pause from our series rewatch come September to return to a previous rewatch. Since we’ve discussed all the films of Alien and Predator (AVP Rewatch), we will be heading to the movies to see “The Predator.”
