“Spend” brings us one episode closer to the season five finale, although this year might not seem quite as long with the upcoming companion series to look forward to. The ratings were once again up and down: up from last season, down from last week. You win some, you lose some. Speaking of losing, our gang experienced more loss this week, but what’s a show called The Walking Dead without some loss? Even though we know it’s a fact of life for our favorite characters, it doesn’t mean we have to like it!

This week, we discuss our favorite parts of the episode, which earned high ratings from both of us. To spare our listeners extended rantings about Father Gabriel in this episode, we are releasing a separate episode dedicated to the special feelings we have for him. It was fun to go on a tirade about what a horrible person he is. So, this left us more time to talk about the rest of the episode. The ill-fated solar power supply run, the revolving door, the budding Sam-Carol bond, Abraham finding his purpose, and Eugene finally stepping up.

If you’re interested in reading more about the Broken Windows theory, you can check that out here.

We got feedback this week from two whole people, let’s see if next week we can double that! We love to hear what you all have to say, so come join the conversation.  Don’t let the deadline keep you from contributing, if you send it in late, we’ll include you in the next episode!

There are still a few days left to vote in this year’s Podcast Awards! While we weren’t specifically nominated, recognition for any Golden Spiral Media podcast helps all Golden Spiral Media podcasts. So get out there and vote every day for Arrow Squad in the Best Produced Category, The Blacklist Exposed in the Entertainment Category, and Stuff I Learned Yesterday in the General Category. You must confirm your email address for your vote to count.

Don’t forget to subscribe to us in iTunes so you won’t miss an episode, and while you’re there, go ahead and give us a review, it only takes a few minutes, but can help us tremendously!
