Chester’s Mill Gazette

The Kinship and the Resistance consider each other “the enemy within” the dome, but with Joe McAlister’s help (very literally speaking), they are all soon without the dome.

In “Incandescence”, The final bloodbath begins as the race for the endgame starts in earnest. The resistance gets an unlikely ally, and a new queen is crowned.

In “Love Is A Battlefield”, we see love being fought on two fronts. Barbie tries to bring Eva back from the Kinship, and Big Jim tries to reconnect with Junior.

Eva goes from 0 to full term in just a few minutes, while the “Kin-wives” gives their lives for the new Queen.

So, Big Jim, what’s plan B? Getting cornered in town with the kinship on all sides? Did that work better than “True Love’s Kiss” (™) on Barbie? I think not. Oh, and Barbie?

Our very own Horoscope columnist Karen called it! She figured out that the pink stars falling in lines that our denizens of Chester’s Mill saw was really an IMAX showing of Apocalypse Now.

Pink stars finally are falling in lines! (And kicking up ejecta.) But that’s not good news for the rest of the world. Turns out that being in the dome might actually be a good thing. Who knew!

While Aktion has her caged, Christine unloads a lot of what’s going on to cell-mate Big Jim. It’s pretty clear that the dome’s appearance is due to Eva and her.

Barbie and Pete duke it out, but it’s Barbie who hits the home run. Jim and Julia get the Alaska access from Aktion, but Indy awakes answers from Jim’s jolted mind.

Desperate times make for strange bedfellows, and Big Jim and Julia teaming up really fits that bill. Can the two of them really take on Aktion’s finest?

The denizens of Chester's Mill have gone through many changes in the 3 weeks they have been Under the Dome. But nothing like they have in the past 24 hours.

“Under the Dome” returns for a third season, and almost everyone gets out of the dome, and a year later has moved on with their lives. Or not.

To get you ready for the new season, 7 different Under the Dome podcast hosts representing 4 podcasts got together to recap season 2 and look ahead to what we’re expecting in season 3.

In episode 54 of TripleCast, Cory and Karen close out the "GSM Crossover" with "Chester's Mill Gazette" and discuss Stephen King adaptation, "The Green Mile." Paul Edgecomb is a slightly cynical…

In episode 53 of TripleCast, Cory is again joined by Karen from Golden Spiral Media's "Chester's Mill Gazette" and they discuss "Misery." Best-selling novelist Paul Sheldon is on his way home from…

In episode 52 of TripleCast, Cory is joined by Karen from Golden Spiral Media's "Chester's Mill Gazette" to discuss the first of three Stephen King adaptations, "The Dead Zone." After awakening from…

Junior jars Jim (justifiably), Barbie brings his babe to the brink (but she can’t cross the chasm), and monarchs move mountains for Melanie.

To everything, there is a season, turn, turn, turn - The Byrds. Or Lyle. Or Sara Niemietz & W.G. Snuffy Walden. Or the book of Ecclesiastes. Barbie turns a gun on Hunter.

Barbie hits some black ice while driving, sending the ambulance on its side and impaling Julia. (Now he knows how those of us who live in Atlanta feel when we get an ice storm.) Big Jim and Junior’s…

Big Jim falls for Pauline (after first getting a bit cold), the egg falls into the pit (successfully), and Phil falls into the pit (unsuccessfully).

Seems to have been a lot of red doors in Zenith. Hunter seems to have found quite a few. But only Barbie knows the right one.

Lyle awakes from his mumblings only to realize that, no, the Rapture hasn’t happened. Barbie wakes up a bit to how much his dad really knows about the dome.

With Lyle, Sam and Barbie falling in lines to the town of Zenith, and Joe’s drone discovering that the pit is a portal, “Going Home” gave us a glimpse of life out from under the dome, and hope for a…

In this extra edition of the Chester’s Mill Gazette, we talk to Mackenzie Lintz, who plays Norrie Calvert-Hill on “Under the Dome”.

Extra, extra, read all about it! San Diego ComicCon finished up recently, and 6 cast members, plus the executive producer, hosted a panel where they showed a teaser trailer for the rest of the second…

Junior, Barbie and Sam venture out “In the Dark” to explore the caves below the school. The town is left in the dark, first from a dust storm, then by Big Jim who is, again, casting doubt on the…

In “Reconciliation”, Julia and Big Jim make up (maybe), Julie and Barbie really make up (really), and Joe and Norrie ... don’t.

A plan to cull town residents thwarted by Julia And Sam (and a guilty conscience). The search for the identity of the Mystery Girl gets answered (we think).

With red rain falling in lines, dome-penetrating wifi, and some rather obvious Microsoft tablet product placement, the episode "Force Majeure" breaks things wide open.

This week, it's Monarch butterflies that are falling in lines, and their caterpillars are out to lunch on the Chester's Mill food supply.

We discuss the first episode of season 2, “Heads Will Roll”. Heads don’t literally roll, but we start off with the one-two punch of Linda and Angie being added to the obituary section of the Gazette.

Thanks for reading the Chester’s Mill Gazette, the town’s smaller but more interesting newspaper. We’re going to be covering the events in the only town we know of that is Under The Dome.
