Round 2
Bracket 1
Iron-Man v Doctor Strange
Black Panther v Scarlett Witch
My question is how long has Wanda had her powers? Are we judging them at peak performance just just movieverse? I’m going to say movie verse for ease.
Winners: Iron-Man and by just an edge Scarlett Witch.
I think Black Panther would put up a good fight but because she can mess with your mind also – I’m going Wanda!
Bracket 2
Hulk V Falcon
Captain Marvel V Ant-Man
Winners: Hulk and Captain Marvel.
Bracket 3
Wasp V Winter Solider
Black Widow V Captain America
Winners: Wasp because of her ability to go subatomic and Black Widow.
Bracket 4
Hawkeye V Vision
Spider-Man V Thor
Hawkeye is only this far because you have him the bye.
Winners: Vision and Thor.
Round 3
Bracket 1
Iron-man v Scarlett Witch
Winner: Scarlett Witch.
Bracket 2
Hulk V Captain Marvel
Winner: Captain Marvel.
Bracket 3
Wasp V Black Widow
Winner: Again sub atomics – Wasp.
Bracket 4
Vision V Thor
Winner: This is actually kind of hard but I’m going to go Vision.
Round 4 – the semi-finals
Scarlett Witch V Captain Marvel
Wasp V Vision
Winners: Captain Marvel and Vision.
Round 5 – the finals
Captain Marvel V Vision
Champion: Another tough one but maybe Captain Marvel because I don’t know if Vision’s construct body can withstand her cosmic pounding.
On to your thoughts…
Ugh “Endgame”…that is such an overhyped movie; I wasn’t that impressed with it honestly. Nebula should have killed Thanos with the glove not Tony because of all Thanos put her through and how it was setting up for her to be a major player. Tony shouldn’t have died! Steve going back in time literally changes things starting from the moment he effected the past so you essentially erase like half the movies so “Infinity War” arguably never happened and thus ENDGAME never happens; there’s just a lot of problems with the last 10 minutes of the film especially that ruins the otherwise interesting drama build up.
Again it depends on what weapons they bring to the fight and also where the fight is because while there’s fair points made about Rhodey I still think Bucky could take him unless he did just blow him up first, but even then this guy fell off a train into a ditch and lived so he could probably take those hits also because comics. 🙂
I’m with Blake (I think it was), Drax is just another big dude who once disarmed is going down like the rest so I think Black Widow could take him.
Be honest, did you give Hawkeye a bet in round one just so he would make it through round one? Ha.
If Black Panther could prepare to combat Wanda’s mind control powers I think he would make it a close fight and may take it but by the edge I have to give it to Wanda. I could understand if Black Panther did win however actually!
Lol “not even fat Thor”.
It’s probably because I skipped the “Doctor Strange” movie (because the character didn’t grab me as much as others; to be fair I’m over Spider-Man also, I like Tom but I don’t care about Peter enough to watch a full film on him usually) but I took him out early so you listing all of his powers makes me reconsider some choices but I’m still good with my winning pick. Again if he used time to go back and take her out before Carol became Captain Marvel it would be one thing, but with powers I think she could arguably win.
This was fun and I would enjoying doing more brackets from y’all in the future! 🙂
Maybe next you could do best “Star Wars” film or character.b
“X-Men 1” and “X-Men 2” are good I agree. “X-Men 3” is hot garbage and should be avoided; yes Kelsey Grammer is a good Beast and Ellen Page makes an awesome Kitty Pryde but the rest is garbage! The First Class series is also good.
Team “Frozen”! 😀
