The Sandbox Episode – Season 3 Finale Review
The season 3 finale did not disappoint! Plenty to love about Absolution and Ascension even though we lost a couple of dear characters. With the huge shift implied by the ending of this season, we could be in for a very different season four next year. All in all, a wonderful conclusion to the Inhumans arc.
Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for the season 3 finale, Faith’s CoulSass moments, and our listener feedback segment! This week we talk about Daisy’s emotional journey, Hive’s memory jumble, Mack’s inability to follow orders, Coulson’s reference to a different director, the wonderful capers sprinkled throughout this two-parter, and the interesting turn for Dr. Radcliffe’s character and the possibilities for him moving forward.

Maybe Dr. Radcliffe will be Jemma’s new buddy because she needs a friend too and since BioShock (another reason to be sad about the loss of Lincoln) is no more and they refuse to put her with Daisy for more than 5 seconds, I feel that’s due to Chloe’s and Elizabeth’s amazing chemistry – it just leads to shipping Skimmons, she needs someone so why not him?
Oh there’s meaning in Daisy not hurting Jemma! ;D
You have to love when mentally strong characters get to play hero as much as the physically strong ones. Bummed I missed crowbar wielding Jemma, hopefully someone will put that clip online soon. I’m going to miss Luke and Brett; it will be partially sad to not see the next bad guy still being played by Brett.
I vote for “Small Plane” in the CoulSass poll.
May is the easy choice for Director, but maybe it’s a nod to Maria Hill being back in the position? It would be awesome to see Colby Smulder back! Wild card: Jemma.
