The Music of The Architect
While Lonny has his last meal in prison reading the good book we hear Merle Haggard’s “Mama Tried”. Upon arriving at Black Mass and questioning Elise for not being in Jail “Death Battalion” rattles the warehouse from Heaven Below. As the competition heats up and the architect crashes the party we hear “2nd Chance” from Cerrone. “Symphony No. 3 in D Major” plays as David arrives back home to see Red not getting his portrait painted. And finally Haley Ross’s “Barracuda” plays over our final scenes as Red and Harold have a chat and Elise apologies to Aram for using him.
You can hear these songs via the official Blacklist playlist on Spotify or the same playlist recreated by us on Apple Music.

Granny! Get your gun! Them podcast boys, Troyz and Aay-ron is coming for your Applesauce and Pretzel recipe – – and theyz is heavily armed.
– – just kidding gents – –
Good podcast and very good episode this week. My one small critique is that Spiner’s master thespian skills were under-utilized in the bad guy role this ep. The character was sorta 2 dimensional and lacked depth and backstory. I fully anticipated Spiner would be a recur. Maybe he did survive the hyper-velocity round to the backside of the SUV. One can only hope.
Aram metaphor: Grinch Who Stole Christmas – Whose “heart grew three sizes that day”. Aram after blasting the bad guy to smithereens – “The tech nerd ‘nutted-up’ three sizes that day”.
