SB104 – S6E3 – Fear and Loathing on the Planet of Kitson

Agents of SHIELD’s space storyline heats up in “Fear and Loathing on the Planet of Kitson” as Daisy and Jemma search for Fitz while he and Enoch try to regain the money needed to continue their mission. A casino on Kitson provides the backdrop for one of the most hilarious episodes of the series to date.

SB103 – S6E2 – Window of Opportunity

“Window of Opportunity” introduced a whole new dynamic to Agents of SHIELD as we learned more about Sarge and his team through the subtle use of hints dropped into their dialogue. With Fitz just missing Simmons out in space, his path to redemption hearkens back to his troubles in season 4, creating a nice bit of dissonance for the journey of Fitz and Enoch.

This week we talk about Snowflake’s bloodthirstiness, May’s bravado, Sarge’s catch phrase, Pax’s rebelliousness, Dr. Benson’s dissatisfaction, and the cool use of portals in the jewelry heist. SB102 – S6E1 – Missing Pieces

We’re back from the super-long hiatus to talk about the season 6 premiere of Agents of SHIELD, “Missing Pieces,” and a lot has changed in the one year time jump since last year’s finale. With Mack in charge, SHIELD is in its rebuilding phase, but they’re already confronting a new mystery with destructive dimension-hoppers that include a familiar face. Meanwhile, how will the search for Fitz go in deep space?

Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for Missing Pieces, Faith’s CoulSass moments (which is taking a pass this week – no sass!), and our listener feedback segment! This week we talk about Daisy’s more finely controlled powers, Simmons’ blinding despair, Yoyo’s new interests, Mack’s leadership style, and the new characters being introduced. SB101 – S5E22 – The End

SB101 – S5E22 – The End

Thankfully, “The End” wasn’t actually the end for Agents of SHIELD, but it still knocked us for an emotional loop in giving us some ending for certain characters. Although there is some discussion of whether or not the deaths in this finale were enough to sell the stakes that were set earlier in the season, the impact on the audience was definitely strongly felt, and the tissues were plentiful.

Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for “The End,” a special edition of Faith’s CoulSass Report, and our listener feedback segment! This week we talk about Talbot’s absorbing powers, Deke’s disappearing act, Yoyo’s reconciliations, Mack’s new leadership position, May’s surprising rebellion, Daisy’s changing of the timeline, Coulson’s amazing retirement party, and the completely cruel and wonderful way the writers tricked us regarding Fitz. SB100 – S5E21 – The Force of Gravity

SB100 – S5E21 – The Force of Gravity

The Force of Gravity” holds several meanings in this week’s Agents of SHIELD, not just the obvious power wielded by Glenn Talbot a.k.a. Graviton. It also could refer to the triumphant moment for Philinda shippers as their beloved couple finally came together, or a case could be made that the gravity of family is pulling the fractured team back together as well. It certainly acted as a wonderful build-up to the finale!

Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for “The Force of Gravity,” Faith’s CoulSass moments, and our listener feedback segment! This week we talk about that amazing kiss, Daisy’s speech about family, Talbot’s continuing mental issues, Mack’s reconciliation with Yoyo, Deke’s increasing usefulness, the narrowing down of the villain quotient, and the crucial decision facing the team with regard to the use of the Centipede serum. SB98 – S5E19 – Option Two

SB98 – S5E19 – Option Two

In choosing “Option Two” in this week’s Agents of SHIELD, Coulson turns this episode into a wonderful, horror-style survival story. How ironic given his own survival is in question and Daisy and May move forward with their plan to save him. The fallout from some of the conflicts within the group get their due this week as things are clearly gearing up for the big finale. Will it be a season or series finale?

Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for “Option Two,” Faith’s CoulSass moments, and our listener feedback segment! This week we talk about Mack’s focus on the present, Deke’s underappreciated skills, Daisy’s inconvenient absence, Talbot’s surprising rise to power, Fitz’ “canary in the coal mine” theory, and Elena’s realization about the uselessness of having killed Ruby. SB97 – S5E18 – All Roads Lead…

SB97 – S5E18 – All Roads Lead…

In “All Roads Lead…” Agents of SHIELD brings a major conflict to fruition, but there’s still so much to resolve, especially among the team. Have they simply pissed of General Hale such that the Kree will bring about the prophecy, or will something else begin the breaking apart of the Earth? It’s still impossible to tell where “the destroyer of worlds” comes into play, and the suspense is killing us!

Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for “All Roads Lead…,” Faith’s CoulSass moments, and our listener feedback segment! This week we talk about Elena’s short-sightedness, Ruby’s potential for control given the chance, Alex’s gruesome fate, Daisy’s display of leadership, Deke’s comic relief, the preparations for taking the Zephyr to space, and more! SB96 – S5E17 – The Honeymoon

SB96 – S5E17 – The Honeymoon

The adventure depicted in this week’s Agents of SHIELD episode, “The Honeymoon,” probably isn’t exactly the honeymoon Fitz and Simmons were hoping for. The theme running throughout “The Honeymoon” appears to be reckless actions or personal weakness, and for better or for worse, examples abound in each of the various storylines.

Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for “The Honeymoon,” Faith’s CoulSass moments, and our listener feedback segment! This week we talk about May’s tough love for Coulson, FitzSimmons’ need to reassure each other about their invincibility, Elena’s arm pain when going super-speed, Ruby’s impatience with Alex’s help, and Talbot’s surprising sleeper status. SB95 – S5E16 – Inside Voices

SB95 – S5E16 – Inside Voices

Inside Voices” really seemed to break up the team in Agents of SHIELD, and we’re really wondering how this might lead to further disaster. With Coulson out in the wilderness with Talbot, Simmons and others off in a quinjet, May and Daisy in Zephyr One, and Mack and Deke stuck at the Lighthouse, things couldn’t be more divided.

Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for “Inside Voices,” Faith’s CoulSass moments, and our listener feedback segment! This week we talk about Simmons’ controversial choice to trick Mack, Fitz’s emotional reaction to her experiment, Robin’s reaction at seeing May again, Hale’s motivation for having Creel touch the gravitonium, Ruby’s rebellious streak that seems to have gotten the better of her, and much more!
