Golden Spiral Media Patreon
What is Patreon?

Patreon is a platform that lets fans support their favorite creators by becoming patrons. Unlike other fundraising services, which raise for a single big event (e.g. Kickstarter), Patreon is for creators who create a stream of smaller works.

How does it work?

As a Patron, you can pledge any dollar amount that you feel comfortable with.  Every pledge on Patreon is a recurring payment and Patrons will be charged at the beginning of every month for their previous month’s support.

What do Patrons get?

As a Patron of Golden Spiral Media, you’ll recieve a variety of rewards based on your level of support.

For a $1/month contribution you will not only receive our sincere gratitude, you’ll receive a shout out on a dedicated Patreon supporter page on our website.  We’ll include your name (first name, last initial), Twitter ID (if you choose), and website address (if you have one).

For a $5/month contribution you will receive a shoutout on the podcast of your choice. Shoutout includes your name or Twitter ID and your website if you choose. Also, a host of your choice will record a greeting on your voicemail or home answering machine. Plus all $1 incentives.

For a $20/month contribution you will receive a GSM mug OR T-shirt. You will also receive an invitation to a private podcast once per quarter. The podcast will cover a movie or TV Pilot voted on by $20 and $50 Patreons. Plus all $1 and $5 incentives.

For a $50/month contribution you will receive a GSM mug AND T-shirt.  You will also earn the option to be a guest on a show of your choice. Plus all other incentives.

Where does my money go?

The money you give each month supports the content and content creators here at Golden Spiral Media.  Our operating costs are currently about $250/month.  While our hosts don’t get paid a set rate for their great work, we love being able to compensate them for the work they do.  So the money you give to Golden Spiral Media will help keep new content coming your way by allowing us to pay our bills and pay our hosts.
