Greetings, Supergirl fans! We’re glad you’ve stumbled across this special installment of Maid of Steel featuring an interview with Glenn Morshower (General Sam Lane). Golden Spiral Media had the incredible opportunity to participate in Geekinomicon and supporting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at the beginning of September and one of the featured guests was none other than our favorite love-to-hate father figure of the Lane women.

A huge thank-you to Ruthie (The Walking Dead Talkthrough) and Troy Heinritz (Blacklist Exposed) for taking the reigns on this interview. Neither Karen nor I (Emilee) were able to participate in the event, but we are so grateful to reap the benefits of it. Please take a moment to check out our MS Donation Page!

Glenn Morshower

Whatever your opinion of General Sam Lane might be, there’s no denying the fact that the character and the man behind the character both have incredible careers standing them up. The interview provided from Geekinomicon doesn’t focus a lot on Morshower’s experiences in Supergirl, so instead take this opportunity to learn more about the other ventures he has pursued in the past and is now taking part in.

I am familiar with Morshower, but not from any of the shows that are talked about in this interview. It was incredibly interesting to hear about his time on the set of 24 and his pivotal role in saving his character, Aaron. He also shares about his current program, Extra Mile, which focuses on the mental and spiritual image of humanity, rather than the physical body itself.

In addition to his many roles in television and film, Morshower is a teacher. He makes movies, teaches actors how to make movies, and speaks to varying groups of people, including Fortune 500 companies, about the responsibilities we have as human beings to make this world a better place.
