Trace Decay Analysis
Welcome to Beyond Westworld, and boy do we have a podcast for you…
Westworld set the pieces in motion as “Trace Decay” takes a deeper look at hosts and their memories, as our three primary perspectives (Maeve, Bernard, and Dolores) are thrown into chaos. Bernard is forced to come to grips with his nefarious deeds, Maeve prepares an army, and Dolores drifts further away from reality. It’s another exciting episode of Beyond Westworld as we ramble our way through yet another deciphering of Ford’s complex code.
Be sure to answer our fan question of the week: Which host’s plight are you most invested in: Maeve, Dolores or Bernard? Visit our feedback page to leave a response or call +1 (304) 837-2278.
The park is open, so come on in!

Enjoyed your podcast on Tuesday morning (part of my little weekly loop). Thanks.
I am not so sure about the Full Heinrich theory of Ford purposely trying to get Delos to “give it back” to Ford – a robot uprising would kill the revenue opportunities of Westwood to the point that the park couldn’t stay running.
I further question this idea that Ford’s motive is to “tell his stories”. That seems too simplistic for Ford, a guy with a God complex doesn’t want to just tell fictional stories. He clearly has deeper motives.
Next, I totally buy in to the idea that Ford is a host who is Arnold’s creation. Felt that has been increasing in probability the last few weeks. I think it’s possible that Arnold (the human) is still alive, hidden within “the maze” that is Westworld.
Keep ’em coming.

Follow up based on later comments in the podcast:
I’m with Aaron on the MIB-isn’t-necessarily-a-bad-dude line of thinking. These things are are toasters with faces and killing one (even a kid, Troy) is not an i humane act because these things aren’t human.
If I play Grand Theft Auto V, I occasionally just drive around and run people over or punch out random NPCs. I would never do this in the real world, and I assure you I don’t feel bad about it for even one second because it isn’t real.
Westworld = GTA.
