[sc:astop]Martin “The Flash” and Cammien Ray discuss the search for the Demon, the fight against Dragon, and what all the bad – and a few good – guys are up to in Star City. We follow ARGUS, the FBI, and a few rogue heroes as several teams attempt to fulfill Oliver’s prior mission of stopping Dragon and the Longbow Hunters from taking over the city. Meanwhile, Oliver is navigating his way through an increasingly violent maximum security prison, and while our former Green Arrow may be apprehensive about finding himself in a higher level of danger, we’re both pumped to see our hero get one step closer to the big boss.
This season Arrow will be airing on Mondays at 8pm ET. Our podcast episodes will be posted the following Wednesday, so we can accept email/voice feedback through Tuesday afternoon – and maybe an early Tuesday evening submission might make it in if you’re quick. 🙂

YES Stormy, embrace the no redemption for Black Siren!!! 🙂
Watson I know isn’t going to be happy if she learns what Felicity did but I’m wondering how Dinah will feel when it comes out because Felicity locked her out also when she told Renee via comms to stop Silencer and lock her up; will Dinah understand or will she say Felicity went too far because she hurt a good agent’s career (Watson)? Might this be another instance that pushes Dinah from the group for a bit because once again a founding member makes a decision behind her back as it were? NOTE: DO NOT USE THIS POSSIBLE SEPARATION AS A WAY TO INSERT Black Siren INTO THE GROUP WRITERS; Black Siren IS NOT Laurel 1 aka the previous Black Canary! NO MEMBER, but especially CANARIES SHOULD NOT BE INTERCHANGEABLE! #KeepBlackSirenEvil!
I have to say your favorite moment made me groan Flash because it feels like Felicity is becoming a bit like earlier seasons Oliver where the ends justify the means and I’m not sure I like that for her. I get she wants to stop Dragon so she can maybe get her family back together but this feels a little out of character to me. I’m also worried if she cracks then Oliver will crack and I don’t want earlier seasons Oliver again; he’s finally stopping to be so hypocritical so let’s not go back there please!
“which was always Renee’s fault in my opinion…and also I’m right.” – lol Cammie!
Oliver is definitely going to get out in this season I feel but I’m more than ok with them dragging that out because one it’s realistic as they don’t have Diaz yet and two it gives the team plenty of time to interact with this new Arrow running around without Oliver jumping in to take the hood back so if he doesn’t get out until like 3 episodes before the season end I’m good with that. I feel it’ll be someone like Watson letting him out somehow or someone who wants to use his skills letting him out in order to stop something else and then the season will end on is he going back to prison or will he be set free and if he’s freed will he be able to stay that way or will whoever let him out just be waiting for him to slip-up so they can put him back in jail as a scapegoat? There’s certainly some interesting plots they could set up with jail and Oliver. Again there’s no need to rush him out as you have an Arrow technically and you haven’t caught Dragon yet or enough of his people to trade for Oliver’s release so keep pushing that realism theme here as it’s really working for this season’s quality.
“I’m clearly over thinking it for what’s going to happen in a CW show.” – ha Cammie!
I like that Oliver is learning what he sees is not all there is, for example the one guy who talked about being out with John and Lyla and how he helped her and Oliver said he didn’t know that so it creates this concept of did you put away an innocent (at least of that crime) person and how does it make you feel. As Flash said some good prison stuff going on currently.
Hey Cammie is there room on your I Don’t Give A Crap About Dragon Anymore bench because I’d like a seat please. I definitely care more about the Longbow Hunters than I do him I’ll say it. AHH, no Flash – vehemently disagree they are not dumb; hired muscle oh yeah but dumb no. Dragon isn’t going to be able to outsmart this crew I think, in fact they might even throw him to the wolves (the team) as it were if he tries to mess them over too much. Ooh, ooh then the team can give Dragon a monologue in turn and then Black Siren kills him because she’s evil and into self preservation so Watson’s boss throws Oliver back in jail because someone has to serve that time so they keep looking good and as Cammie said he technically did commit crimes – bring on that possible finale for the season I am in for everything collapsing on Dragon! And also Black Siren staying evil as always. 🙂
Honor is Silencer’s real name according to Dart hunter.
“I’m his mother…and your boss; we leave in five.” – sexy Lyla hello! 🙂
Flash! Flash, Flash, Flash did you swoon too seeing Dinah in blue at the station or was that just me?! 🙂
Woah Kevin, that’s big talk; have you been watching “Supergirl” S4 so far, if not may I interest you in a viewing? I like “Arrow” but I have to say my first love will always be “Supergirl” when it comes to the superhero genre; season one might be the best live action superhero season ever for me (best superhero show debatably goes Bruce Timms “Justice League”/”Justice League: Unlimited” – HIGHLY recommend that cartoon series if you haven’t seen it before). 🙂 That said this has been a really good season of “Arrow” so far and debatably it’s best!
This is definitely hands down the best season in regards to stunts for “Arrow” in my opinion; I agree Flash!
“I would like to remove “I did it for you!” from this and all comic book shows!” – thirded!
Seconded to less to no “Hoss!” by Renee.
I’m conflicted about letting Flash have Dinah as on the one hand he has championed her since the start so okay, but on the other female Arrow/Dinah Drake Black Canary for comic nod while still keeping Olicity and possible Dinah flirting with Dart Longbow Hunter and we get good a “bad guy”/good guy plot unlike the rushed Vince thing from last season. 🙂 However if I’m only allowed one “Arrow” wish this season I will of course always vote to keep Black Siren evil because it’s a lasting plot where as Dinah’s love can only go as long as the other character is only in the season so…I’ll think about letting Dinah be solely yours Flash. 😉 Never fear she’s always yours outside of the show situations because again you are captain of the Dinah Drake fan club and anti hero me can respect at least that. 🙂 “Because all the ladies love Dinah.” – yep! I’ll give it to Flash, it probably won’t happen but Dinah could be someone who’s bisexual and leans more straight overall however if she meets the right girl she’s open to dating her; Vince could have just been her main love at that point in her life who happens to be male. Oh Black Siren was totally flirting with Dinah for sure, but yeah no to that pairing for multiple reasons; if Black Siren got a girlfriend that could be something too but yeah no to Siren/Canary however yes to Siren flirting with Canary to in part mess with her because Katie and Juliana just killed those humor moments with their looks and banter. 🙂 They do like pairing up the hot girls and guys but here’s to branching out to have that include pairing the hot girls with the other hot girls and the hot guys with the other hot guys although this is the CW so really it’s just pairing the males with females, females with females, and males with males because everyone is hot in those casts. Ha.
Mark Paul played Zack Morris in “Saved By The Bell”.
I think you can get extended sentences for messing with guards Flash so Oliver could get longer but probably won’t because we’re already four episodes in so if he’s going to be in this season outside of jail he can’t have it extended for fighting guards; his saving grace is they’re dirty so that might help if he takes them down before being up to get out.
I’m reserving judgement on the Argus mission for now because maybe it’ll come back into play at a later date in the season such as we see Argus, with Lyla of course, doing these seemingly random missions and then maybe they come together as a payoff in the end? Maybe whatever Lyla is doing will help get Oliver out – it’s her way of saying thanks for protecting John over the years and helping her family?
In regards to next week, “Are you ready to be ruthless?” – I’m ready for you to be ruthless always Black Siren; please be ruthless always while you’re on the show!
