They all lived happily ever after. Wait! Don’t stop reading! This is not a Once Upon a Time blog post. Well actually Once Upon a Time did not have that happy of an ending. However, that is a story for another day. Oliver and Felicity drove off into the sunset. I really did not see that coming. This is Starling City after all. A place where the aftershocks of one tragedy barely have time to subside before the next crisis rocks the streets.

Oliver has left the City in the hands of his team. The Black Canary is complete with the Canary Cry, thanks to Cisco. Thea (who will be Speedy or Red Arrow) is really putting into practice the training she received from her Father. Last but not least John Diggle is still in need of identity concealment. Some of Oliver’s recent decisions have caused his team to lose faith in him. Trust that is broken is hard to win back. We will have to see how that unfolds next season.

In Nanda Parbat, Al Sa-Him is no more. The mantle of Ra’s Al Ghul has been passed on. Malcolm Merlyn is now the head of the League of Assassins. Who’s side will he be on? Will he be entirely self serving, only interested in his own power? Will he come to the aid of his daughter in Starling City if she were to call? Will he be loyal to Oliver because he would not have risen to this station without his help?

Nyssa Al Ghul has returned to Nanda Parbat. Will she serve quietly under the reign of the latest Ra’s Al Ghul? My opinion is that she returned to her home in order to take down Merlyn from the inside. After all Nyssa is the Heir to the Demon. This is her birthright. Regardless of who is at the head of The League I believe that Starling City will have new allies. Which reminds me. Are marriages in Nanda Parbat legally binding?

Ray Palmer was working on his Atom suit when the building exploded. Whoa! What a cliffhanger! Well actually it would have been if it weren’t for one thing. The CW released a trailer for Legends of Tomorrow (which looks totally awesome) that shows Ray alive and well. Legends of Tomorrow does appear to have a time travel element though. My theory is the blast causes the nanotechnology in Ray to activate. He gets very small and hides somewhere from the blast.

How many miles will Felicity and Oliver get before they have to turn around? My guess, not too many. Soon the calm will be over and the next storm will draw them out of the sunshine and back into the mayhem. The Arrow is dead. Al Sa-Him is no more. His name is Oliver Queen! When he returns to Starling City will the Green Arrow be born? We shall have to wait and see. Until then join the Arrow Squad on Facebook for all the latest theories and links to show news.
