Case Profile for The Capricorn Killer

The Capricorn Killer is a cold case that Liz profiled in a previous life. Only something is off about the killer’s return. It looks like a copycat at first, but then we get introduced to a few other serial killer cold cases as well. Turns out that this week’s blacklister isn’t a he but a she, one Dr. Sharon Fulton who is taking the law into her own hands solving the unsolvable cases by murdering serial killers using their own tactics. Only this time she is leveraging her therapy sessions with Liz to recruit her to join her operation, FBI agents with certain profiles for tendencies to be drawn to the dark side. In the storyline everybody else is wondering about, Red and Garvey do go head to head a few times but not until we get our hip hop jams on in the dark. Thanks Dembe. There is a witness that can ID Garvey that Aram needs to transport thanks to corruption in the US Marshals service (go figure), but in exchange for the mysterious bag of bones Red kidnaps the witness right from under Aram in order to protect him from Garvey himself.

Be sure to answer our profiling question of the week: What will Liz do when she finds out about Red’s involvement with the witness? Visit our feedback page to leave a response or call +1 (304) 837-2278.

The Music of The Capricorn Killer

When Red and Dembe use loud music to lure the motel manager, Mr. Gabinelli, to a room for a chat; we hear “True Lies” from M-Dot featuring Camp Lo and Tribeca. In the last Act as agents take photos of the cabind crime scene and Ressler reassures Liz we hear “What Arrows” from Hey Rosetta.

You can hear these songs via the official Blacklist playlist on Spotify or the same playlist recreated by us on Apple Music.
