TripleCast Christmas Movie Wars 2016 - War!

Christmas movie wars causes Triplecast to break out of its’ winter hibernation. Join host Cory with guests John, Ruthie and Mark as they duke it out over their favorite Christmas movies. Standing in the fray to moderate is Karen. Can she stop total devastation?

Christmas Movie Wars 2016:

We all have our favorites when it comes to Christmas movies.  So Cory decided to start a yearly tradition.  Christmas Movie Wars takes different people and has them defend their choices of Christmas movie in different categories.

ROUND 1: WHICH MOVIE IS ESSENTIAL VIEWING AT CHRISTMAS TIME?

What movie do you watch every year and why should it be on everyone’s rotation?
Ruthie: White Christmas
Mark: National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
John: The Polar Express

ROUND 2: WHO IS THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIE CHARACTER?

Which character is the icon of Christmas movies and why?
Ruthie: Ebenezer Scrooge
Mark: Santa, Duh
John: George Bailey (It’s A Wonderful Life)

ROUND 3: WHICH LITTLE-KNOWN CHRISTMAS MOVIE IS A MUST SEE?

Pick a quirky and less well known film that you think is underrated.
Ruthie: Scrooge (1970)
Mark: La Guerre Des Tuques (AKA The Dog Who Stopped The War)
John: Rocky IV

ROUND 4: WHICH MOVIE IS THE BEST “NON-CHRISTMAS” MOVIE SET AT CHRISTMAS?

It’s set at Christmas but isn’t really a Christmas movie, why is this element a good addition to the movie?
