Does the team need protection from Skye, or is it Skye that needs protecting in Who You Really Are? The changes brought about by the obelisk have drawn the attention of alien races, including Lady Sif of Asgard and a Kree named Vin-tak, who tells the story of the origins of those who can touch the obelisk unharmed.

SHOW NOTES:
Impending Guest Stars
I’m okay with Sif being in each season, but I’d like to see Maria Hill back as well. The team definitely seems to be cracking/splintering, again it’s very Civil War building feel. The cop telling Coulson Sif was his problem now was a great comedy moment. I agree Eddie did a good job, his character reminded me of season 1 Pete – serious yet with some humor as well; I missed that Pete in later seasons. As far as his mission, I’m kind of surprised he’s there just now; why would Skye and Raina changing attract him but not Skye’s mom and all the others? You would think all the other inhumans would have alerted them before now. They’re a little slow on the news.
I definitely get why some fans are saying Simmons is out of character, it’s a quick shift that seems out of the blue and I can agree some but I think some is a believable points; she’s seen a lot of the violence to powers and not a lot of the good, yes she knows about the Avengers but they haven’t had a lot of missions either as a team. I get why she might be stressed at times, but I can also see why some call it strange. Hopefully she’ll realize the good again because while I like the dark I do miss the light side at times. Skye worrying about Jemma’s opinion, lovely Skimmons angst which will deepen their relationship.
I could take some more Bobbi-Skye scenes. I was okay with Hunter hitting on Bobbi while she was trying to research the weapon; it’s Hunter, it’s not crazy to think he’d hit on Bobbi whenever he had the chance. I think Sif wanted to capture Skye; what happens to her after that we don’t know but it felt like she wanted to capture her for a trial almost. Great dramatic moment with Skye and the Icer; as said it speaks to her desire not to harm.
I don’t see Bobbi being happy about Mack’s actions with Hunter at the end; she might understand it to a point, but it still won’t sit well with her completely and could lead to a crack within their own unit. I hope nothing bad happens to Simmons, I love Jemma. I’m okay with the dark moments and I know a lot of fans are questioning if she’ll join Bobbi and Mack but I want Jemna to stay good in the scheme. I’m okay with the suggestion of the humans naming themselves “the inhumans”. It’ll be interesting to see how Hunter comes back into the mix and when – pre Bobbi-Mack pulling the trigger or post Bobbi’s and Mack’s mission; he continues to be the rogue.
