Is SHIELD going to go on the offensive after the happenings in A Fractured House? The world almost turned against them, but it remains to be seen if this new agreement between Christian Ward, Talbot, and Coulson will be to the team’s benefit or not, especially since the global organization lost a few more good agents.

Maybe they said it was from the 1940s because that’s when they found the device and recorded their first encounter with it’s ash effect.
I think Simmons kept a watch on Ward because she wanted to male sure he was still locked up. And you can’t fault her. Yes the team all got betrayed, but Simmons and Fitz experienced it first hand if you will so it makes sense she’d want to make sure he was still locked up so he couldn’t hurt anyone. It could be she was watching to see if he would explain why he turned as well; I don’t think it was “let’s watch the hot guy workout” but “let’s make sure he’s locked up because we know he’s dangerous when he’s out and not in a way we can work with”.
Skye could have ignored Coulson in regards to the alien writing, but it would have been a jerk move to a degree.
I definitely think Hunter is still interested in Bobbi. I liked their banter in this episode, but I hope that’s not all there is to their relationship on the series.
I think both Christian and Ward lied to a degree; the question is which parts they lied about but I think both lied.
I kind of doubt Ward’s comment about Skye’s father and it was Hydra he fought to get her back; true it might be Hydra to a degree, but I think there could have been some innocent people there as well and Grant is just saying what he thinks he knows and that it was all Hydra, unless he was there he doesn’t know for sure. True Skye’s father clearly wanted her back that’s plain to see, but a village full of just Hydra? I’m not really buying that. If Hydra was holding Skye back then, why aren’t they chasing her down now?
I kind of agree with Dave, Coulson does seem to want to see which Ward he can continue to trust/use the most, but he’s doing a really dangerous play in the allowing Grant to be shipped by others, if he gets out how can he catch him again? And of course he gets out so there’s lives lost; it’s very fitting to the dark vibe of the season. It just seems like a bad play for the most part. But that’s my opinion on it right now. I really hope Ward isn’t allowed on the team again; no “redeemed good guy returned” arc please, it wouldn’t fit with him in my opinion. He intentionally killed without any remorse.
I think Mack was being a bit unfair to Jemma when he told her about Fitz; I like he said most of what he did, but he doesn’t know their dynamic before he got there so I get why some fans think that scene was a bit a harsh. Though Jemma did agree with Mack and that’s why she said she left in part, because she knows she’s not helping him but he is still her friends so of course she’s going to want to see how he’s doing.
I loved how when she returned they didn’t have that instant connection like he does with imagination Simmons, she got words wrong and it made him angry she wasn’t getting them right so it was another way to show the changes between them. It was real. I liked it.
I don’t think Ward will join Hydra. Again no redeeming Ward please; I know I wouldn’t trust him. I don’t see how he could ever win back trust from the main team; he tried to kill Simmons and Fitz, he betrayed the rest of the group and I don’t see May forgiving him, he might get some questioning points from the new guys but the original group I don’t see how he can be redeemed realistically to them. But that’s me.
I’m with Dave, I’d like to know a little bit about who May was married too and what exactly happened with them.
