In this weeks episode of The Leslie Nielsen Spoofs Rewatch, Cory and Nathan are running with a stride of 4 feet and 3/4 inches in boxer shorts as they discuss “Wrongfully Accused.”

Trailer:

Our Favourite Trivia:

Leslie Nielsen actually appeared in a few episodes of the TV series The Fugitive (1963), which, of course, inspired the Harrison Ford movie The Fugitive (1993), which this film parodies.

Leslie Nielsen’s character is named Ryan Harrison. His role parodies that played by Harrison Ford in The Fugitive (1993). Ford also played a character named Jack Ryan in Patriot Games (1992) and Clear and Present Danger (1994), just before and after The Fugitive.

In the hospital, a voice pages “Dr. Kimble”. This was Harrison Ford’s wrongfully accused character in The Fugitive (1993). The TV news reader is also named Kimble.

In the hospital scene, the intercom pages “Dr. Benton, Dr. Carter, Dr. Greene, Dr. Weaver, and Dr. Ross”, all doctors on the NBC drama ER (1994).

Final theatrical film of Richard Crenna.
