Bloody New Year Trailer:

Our Favourite Trivia:

Warren was approached by Maxine Julius to make a horror film for her, and he developed the plot over seven days with line producer Hayden Pearce. Warren intended the film as a reminder of 1950s B movies, with the film set on an island that is trapped in a time warp where it is always New Year’s Eve, 1959.

Also titled Timewarp Terror in some releases.

The theme song is called Recipe for Romance by Cry No More.

The film was shot in and around Barry Island with Friars Point House used as the Grand Hotel location.

Norman J. Warren also directed Satan’s Slave, Prey, Terror, Outer Touch and Inseminoids. Most recently he made a short in 2014 called The Devil Made Them Do It.

Suzy Aichison (Leslie) went on to be in Casualty, Ab Fab, Mr. Bean (Goodnight, Mr. Bean), Grange Hill, French & Saunders, Midsomer Murders and Birds of a Feather.

Mark Powley (Rick) went on to The Bill (as PC Melvin), Emmerdale, Heartbeat, Peak Practice, Hollyoaks, Casualty, Birds of a Feather, Midsomer Murders and Death in Paradise. He was also in the movie Wing Commander with Freddie Prinze Jr. and Matthew Lillard.
