Just when you thought you’d have to wait until 2016 to get more Person of Interest Podcast goodness, we’re back! In this special episode of Person of Interest Podcast we have some exclusive content from San Diego Comic Con 2015! We were able to get invited to participate in the press room for Person of Interest at SDCC so our SDCC correspondents, Chip and Sara Mims were happy to accept the invitation.
Chip and Sara give us some great insight on the discussions that took place in the press room, what they learned about the upcoming 12-episode 5th season, and all the other goodies they got to experience at Comic Con! The press room included Jim Caviezel, Michael Emerson, Kevin Chapman, Amy Acker, and Executive producers Jonah Nolan, Greg Plageman, and Denise Thé. Read More…
In the season 4 finale, “YHWH”, we find out where The Machine has been hiding all this time, but then, so does Samaritan. In a desperate attempt to save itself, it slips into God Mode, and sends Root and Finch on a shopping trip before sending them to the hub of electrical activity in an attempt to save itself (or die trying).
Reese and Fusco get an escape plan courtesy of The Machine as well. (She’s been busy.) But while Fusco is escorting Elias and Dominic to central booking, and escape plan first looks like it’s going to work. But then a Samaritan asset has other plans for the gang leaders.
And in a hail of bullets, we fade to black. Wow, what a season.
The battle between Elias and Dominic heats up, Shaw is almost rescued, Root may lose her contact with The Machine, and Control is out of control trying to find a Samaritan mole.
“Terra Incognita” is Latin for “unknown territory”, and we go into some territory that is very unknown. John is in unknown territory, out of the view of The Machine, and while there slips into some of the unknown territory of the mind. Carter, is that you?
The threads start to get brought back together, as Samaritan plays a game of “Search and Destroy” with Sulaiman Khan. Sulaiman’s software, supposedly scanning for viruses, is really searching out The Machine. Will it find The Machine? Can it? We’re nearing the end of the season, and hopefully the writers will give us answer. If they Khan. Read More…
Hope you didn’t “Skip” this episode. A bounty hunter makes her catch, Root save Finch (but Finch doesn’t agree she did), Iris closes up, and Mr. Thornhill is back in play. Things seem to be ramping up to the season finale. Any idea what might be in store?
Shane Edwards is a psychologist, and a one-man Karmic machine. But Harold Finch, drawing from his own emotional past, has to convince him that revenge is just not the way to get closure.
Someone’s trying to steal from criminals, because they don’t call the cops. But, to be “blunt”, that can get you caught between the Brotherhood and the Cartel. Better have Team Machine in your corner.
In today’s “Q&A”, we’ll talk about who you should take advice from when you’re depressed, and whether Samaritan is the good guy or the bad guy. The answers aren’t always what you’d expect.
Getting back to how it all started, with just Finch and Reese, “Guilty” puts Harold in the jury box sitting next to the latest number to save or arrest. Occasional friend and jury expert Zoe Morgan does show up to give the guys a hand in trying to figure out which. It’s “Person of Interest” meets “12 Angry Men” meets “Fringe”!
